Dr. Stone - 5.0 started really good but got a bit boring later in the season. several good things that i guess will get better in the next season.
My hero academia S4 - 9.0 holy shit!!!!!! i was going to rate it 7.5 but the last chapter was fucking awesome... fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck incredible ending of a great season
Gankutsuou - 7.0 nice animation and awesome art style, sadly i could only find it in 480p, but it was really good. i enjoyed this version of Count of Montecristo
Kyokou Suiri - dropped had a cool concept and story but the execution failed imo. it became too boring to continue

Played through Utawarerumono since I'm stuck at home anyways. I was expecting more of an RPG like Eien no Aselia, but it's more of a tactics RPG. The gameplay is really simple for a tactics RPG though. I wish they could've added some more mechanics outside of double attacking and elemental affinity. Well for a VN, the gameplay was enjoyable enough although not really comparable to "real" tactics RPG. I think they also have AP for each characters, but it's not shown in the stats page.
In terms of story: + Show Spoiler +Hakuoro, the protagonist wakes up injured and with no memories. He was being nursed by Tuscul and her granddaughter Eruru. Things happen and Tuscul die. To avenge Tuscul, who was a well connected first-rate medicine woman, many people gather and kill the King's brother. They start a revolution and takeover the country. The setting is a sword and magic fantasy set in a warring era.
The story is very standard, but it's executed well. The character design of the first villains were rather lazy though, but other than that, it is executed well. Their actions made them want me to beat them really badly, and you have the gameplay to take out your frustration on them.
You can really tell that this was the inspiration for Tears to Tiara while playing through it.
The h scenes were around Nasu's level of writing.
The voiced version is voice trap. It even has Char Aznable as an antagonist. I really like the music for this game. It completes the atmosphere for the fantasy setting.
I don't know if I'll continue to play through its sequel Itsuwari no Kamen, I've been burned by bad sequels before especially when there is a 10 year difference in release. I'll probably give it a try but not as my next game. Next thing I'm thinking of playing is Kishin Hishou Demonbane. Been a while since I've played Demonbane, but hopefully I can still remember most things that happened.
Anything good for this season of anime besides Kaguya-sama? Oregairu got postponed and I have nothing else to watch for this season and mostly just catching up on old series.

Tower of God, Otome-Game and Fruits Basket S2 i guess / and there will be a new season of Baki in June if you are into this kind of genre. The rest seems really boring to me this season

I'm spending the quarantine watching super old shonens I never watched before. For the longest time I kinda convinced myself I hated those super long shonens. So I'm watching Naruto and Hunter x Hunter for the first time ever. I thought Naruto was going to be super cliche, but there's actually some really cool stuff here. My investment was paid off during that fight with Zabusa going ham on the bridge.

Naruto had good stuff in its early parts, although unfortunately I really do think it falls apart the longer it went on. Between the "Big 3" of Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece, I'd put Naruto at the bottom. Which is unfortunate because Naruto was one of my favorite anime like 15 years ago lol

while you are on it, try "history's strongest diciple" or "Kenichi: The mightiest disciple" (whatever is correct) if you didnt watch it before

Yu Yu Hakusho was also a steller shonen, and shorter then the long running ones.

Season 2 of Kaguya-sama feels like the best thing I've seen all year so far. I went back to rewatch season 1, and it felt better than I remember.

Probably gonna start on Majikoi A-3 soon. And then I'll be waiting for some Alicesoft stuff... Speaking of Alicesoft, I don't think I've ever "cleared" an entire AliceSoft game. I pretty much lost interest after clearing a few routes due to how long it takes to clear a single route.
So far, I've played through Sengoku Rance and Daiteikoku. I've almost completed Sengoku Rance with only Ran route left, and for Daiteikoku, I only finished Mikado route and I was done with it.
Gameplay was interesting at first, but then you find that the most efficient way to play the game is save scumming every turn until you get the results you want, then it just gets boring.

I could never watch these long shonen series. After the first season, the quality drops and the pacing is excruciatingly slow and the animation non-existent. At that point you are watching it for the story, so you might as well go read the manga instead.

The anime was what got me into the series, and now I can't even watch the newer stuff, with them stretching one chapter across an entire episode.

I just wanted to remind everyone that the best anime/manga of all time, Keijo!!!!!!!!! is at 177 chapters. This is one series that needs to be brought back.
Also, has anyone read Solo Leveling? That is a hype manwha as well and I think it could be the next one animated. (As a side note, shame Breaker and Breaker: New Waves never got a shot)

Keijo!!!! is indeed the greatest anime ever made, and needs more.

Hello. Could anyone help me find an spesific anime? Would be much appricated. I've tried for hours, but can't find it's name. It's a survival anime, and the "game" takes place in a big city. It's yearly, and each of the characters have an animal type assosiated with them. I remember ravens, monkeys etc. Their goal is to kill eachother. I remember some scenes in the sewers under the city, some hiding for longest time. Very cool characters, and kind of brutal. Have looked trough MAL and "top survival anime lists" but can't find it.

I'm watching Dorohedoro thanks to the recs here and it's surprisingly good indeed. Pretty sure those people who made the EDs (yes there are multiple) were on drugs though.

Haven't watched Dorehedoro yet, but those people who made the EDs are on more drugs than the ones who made Mob Psycho's OPs/EDs?
