Otherwise Corey Davis would be another good steal at round 6 (if Mariota stays healthy) PS: figured I’d discuss fantasy strategy here since I’m not playing the TLFF.

He is not worth that kind of money, and I'm a big fan of his. You are talking about 2 super elite other positions or one maybe top 10 QB. If you could get picks for him, which I think they could let someone else pay him.

Look at all the Big 12 QBs to hit the NFL since the conference expansion period. How many are decent? That should be your answer. He might put up some numbers against bad defenses this year, but he's not worth it. And LULZ @ Dak thinking he's about to get paid. Patrick Mahomes was a Big 12 QB Murray has a cannon of an arm but it will be a question of if his short stature and arm length is a hindrance or not. he put up elite efficiency numbers last year which I believe is one of the few stats that generally correlates to at least being an NFL level player. obviously nothing is 1:1

But the Mahomes is way better than Murray. (I forgot about Mahomes. I knew there was at least one worth his salt, could not think of the damn name. You got me).

While I'll stan for Mayfield all day, I need to see something out of him this year to put him anywhere near Mahomes. Baker may have an offense that fits him, but the division and conference he plays in is going to be brutal. Doesn't Murray play for the Cardinals?

Doesn't Murray play for the Cardinals? yeah he's probably hosed because the team around him is going to suck and I don't know what Kingsbury is going to be able to do

Former NFL quarterback Landry Jones has signed a contract with the XFL, the new football league announced Thursday. Jones, a former standout at the University of Oklahoma, is the first player who has agreed to join the league, slated to open in 2020. The 30-year-old signal caller signed with the Oakland Raiders in March but was later cut by the team in May. Jones was primarily a backup or third stringer while in the NFL, having played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for five seasons since being drafted by the team in 2013. In his time at Pittsburgh, he saw limited action behind Ben Roethlisberger, though he stepped in to start five games from 2015-17. In the 2018 campaign, he temporarily filled out the Jacksonville Jaguars roster when starter Blake Bortles got hurt. “I’m looking forward to joining the XFL and playing the game I love,” Jones said in a statement. “I can’t wait to suit-up.” The XFL plans to sign seven other quarterbacks before its inaugural player draft in October. Each team’s head coach will select their quarterback just prior to the draft. “We’re excited to welcome Landry to the XFL as our first player and first quarterback,” XFL Commissioner and CEO Oliver Luck said in a statement. “He’s an accomplished athlete with outstanding college credentials and pro experience, and his heart and desire to play football epitomizes the type of individual we want in the XFL.” At Oklahoma, Jones set Big 12 passing records for passing yards (16,646), completions (1,388) and touchdown passes (123). Jones' coach at Oklahoma, Bob Stoops, is the head coach and general manager of the XFL's Dallas-based team.
