Unlike normal jewels, ilvl does matter on Abyss jewels. The toppest tier of mods spawn at ilvl 82, with reduced spawning chance (much like Flaring & Tyrannical) | ||

Damn im speechless how good they are, might be worth taking jewel sockets 3 or 4 skillpoints away from your tree now O_O Honestly i absolutely dislike the Abyss jewels, simply for not having a single strong add on for Spells. That sucks. Kinda ridiculous that you can get 1-60 dmg to wands/claws AND another 1-60 dmg to that ele attack from the suffix side? Theres like 30-40 different stats with to Attacks. . . | ||

Debuff row is gonna be really nice. I have a feeling many people will be unhappy with their builds now that Vaal Pact isn't instant leech anymore. I hope my Raider will work fine, I can pick it or not, will have to decide. I have a feeling high dmg builds without high defences will not be able to reliably fight bosses in close range anymore, so maybe I'll use Blast Rain from the start for single target this time. | ||

Note how these were literally in the patchnotes but people were too busy whining about a perceived lack of buffs E: oh i've been scooped also the abyss jewels hype is way overstated IMO. Half the time they are going to be like +20 mana +2% phys gained as fire if you crit recently +25% evasion rating while moving wow great jewel! Especially keep in mind the good mods are ilvl gated AND weighted to be very rare, so getting a 4 tier 1 mod jewel is like getting a tyrannical flaring merciless weapon of celebration. Good fucking luck. Obviously they are a better implicit than any other belt implicit (if nothing else, >40 life jewels with upside shouldn't be that hard to get) but they aren't nearly so insane as people are implying | ||

Honestly looking on the list and how many dmg mods there are it does seem pretty easy to get 2 dmg mods of the same type you need for a build. Propably hard to get double t1, but tier 2 or tier 3 mods are still pretty sick and strong i think. | ||

For reaching maps yea random rares but eventually I want Berek's ring for life leech (this lets you remove Warlord's curse from the setup), essence worm for free Wrath (and Mathil mentions that ring in the video ) and Mind of the Council for fast mana recovery. Then for last level of upgrade also a Blue Nightmare (so I can remove Assassin's mark curse) and 2x Void Battery | ||
