First thing you notice is that infestors are really good and stephano is really good at abusing them, but also at defending early push, expanding creep etc. He won a game with Roach ravager, one with LBH and the last by a very anti-mech muta response. His play was crisp af. I Hope he is good at ZvZ 'cause WESG europe qualifier is full of zergs.
If there are no adjustments to infestors we could see a resurgence of Stephano. Infestor + BL was his era after all.
Well he was way more than that. Roach into win or roach infest into BL against protoss but his ZvT was more ling infest then ultra. And yes when BL infest killed TvZ he abused it like nearly every zerg but Drg

Wasn't saying he wasn't, but the period of time he was most dominant was the BL Infestor era. and this current patch doesn't appear to favour Stephano's strengths.

The period of time where Stephano was most dominant was right before BL-infestor imo. It can be argued that BL-infestor actually harmed Stephano, since it meant he had to play so many more ZvZs which was his worst match-up by far. And Stephano is great at spotting broken things--he was playing around with swamhosts and mass static defence almost from the get go.
Stephano seems fucked for that tourney, just because he was unable to clean sheet Zerghamdi... I have the feeling that Minato and Namshar will end with 2-2 and 5-5 map score while Stephano, despite being 2-2 will be at 5-6 in map score =(
Short film with Stephano, talking about the game, his experience in the foreigner house in Korea, and some thoughts about his plans for the near future.
Listen, it's easy to say "he's washed up" - but the fact that he has the staying power to contend amongst Europe, even today, implies he may "crack the code" again with some sick build(s). Keep doing your thing Stephano and I think you will crush it.
