SC2 Starleagues (GSL 3 times, OSL 2 times, SSL) - Above 68% all-time win rate in PvT and PvZ according to Aligulac (almost all composed of GSL and Proleague matches) - Aligulac rating of 1735 or higher since Oct. 3, 2012 - longest streak of any SC2 player (that competed in Proleague) All I could think of at the moment, if anyone else thinks of more please post it! Rain is the only player to ever be worth 11 pts in FPL Ah yes, I had forgotten about that one, thanks.
- Rain is also the only player to win GSL Code S while on a foreign team.
Don't know how I forgot about that one, it's a pretty remarkable achievement if you really think about it. Winning Code S despite not living in a team house for almost a year? Crazy. Rain and Parting are really one (well, two) of a kind.

Maru won OSL on Prime. Innovation did most of his 2014 GSL run while on Acer and was only on SKT a week before the finals.

Goodbye the very backbone of my SPL team and goodbye he who fixed PVP and he who thought terran in 2014 was the equivalent to Brood lord/ infeaster
and hope everything goes well with the whole liver thing
|
Wow, even Rain
|
Um... even though I wish for the utter fail for Legacy, this is too much... Someone please close the retirement door
This is getting out of hand...
My favorite Korean scene is being shattered

I was never a fan of Rain, but I always respected him and secretly hoped my favorite players could dodge him in tournaments. I'll certainly miss seeing his name around - he was one of the greatest protoss players in SC2 history. Farewell, Rain =(

True, but in both of those cases they lived in team houses (as far as I know). While on mYi and while winning GSL I don't believe Rain was living in a team house, and I think most agree that the team house environment is very, very helpful, especially for big matches like OSL/GSL finals.
And even though Innovation was only on SKT for a week before his GSL, he still had the benefit of that week of preparation in a team house with everybody on the team focused on helping you prepare for your match, coaches giving advice, and coaches/teammates being at the studio during the match, watching the games live, and going in your booth to calm you down, walk through the game with you, give advice on what was done wrong/how to do it better, give build order suggestions for the next set, etc.

I think the Prime house was trash given that apparently Gerrad sold ByuN's computer for cash.

Man I can't even confirm if ByuN is a real person.

I didn't even think about what will happen to Jaedong.
Where is he staying these days? Does he have enough quality training partners right now? Will EG find a Proleague team for him? Will EG and JD stay with each other?
This must be a hard decision for JD. I hope he finds the best solution for him.

I love this scene, which is made from passion.
However sometimes I feel the future of this scene is not promising.
