The first month of the Battle of the Ladder Heroes has come to a conclusion, and over the month of March the players grinded out the ladder harder than ever before. We're almost done with the event, but there's 1 final tournament (A "WCS style" group battle) before we can pay out all the prize winnings! Below we will explain the placings, the prize pool distribution, and the Top 4 Players invited to the finals.
STANDINGS (Top -> Bottom | 8 points -> 1 point)
Week 1: Bunny, Harstem, Targa, uThermal, Marinelord, Catz, Snute, Major Week 2: Bunny, uThermal, Targa, Harstem, Marinelord, Catz, Major, Snute Week 3: Bunny, Marinelord, Snute, uThermal, harstem, Targa, Catz, Major Week 4: Bunny, Snute, Marinelord, uTHermal, Harstem, Targa, Catz, Major
PRIZE DISTRIBUTION Total Prize Pool: 500 EUR Weekly 1st place: 5% of the total prize pool (25 EUR) each week (Bunny won all 4 weeks = 100 EUR)
Remaining Prize Pool: 400 EUR 1st place = 175 EUR 2nd place = 100 EUR 3rd place = 75 EUR 4th place = 50 EUR
When: April 7 10:00AM PDT (Local time - Tuesday, Apr 07 5:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00))
INVITED PLAYERS: Based off their standings during the ladder grind Bunny, Harstem, uThermal & TargA will be the players competing (If anyone cannot attend we will select the next highest point earner to replace them)

One more time, a shoutout to Hamster for organizing this initiative. Ladder needs to be relevant, and this is a nice contribution towards that end.

Why is Marinelord not invited?

Gogo Bunny. Hope he didn't take the WCS loss hard enough to affect his play. He seemed so disappointed.

I hate to do Invasion's advertisement, but Harstem's twitter in the OP should be @InvasionHarstem instead of @FnaticHarstem

This is great, thanks for sharing! Go Targa!

Cactus Valley for best map 2015 asymetrical spawns = imba map though mirror symmetry gave such fantastic matchups like immortal all-in on horizontal spawns Frost or horizontal spawns tank drop on Deadwing though or all of Inferno Pools I think in general rotational maps have better chance at creating games like this because the base layout on them gives you a "fluid" expanding pattern, at every point there's a base you can take (especially Zerg), but bases aren't clumped up together which makes defending them harder. That and the size of 4p in general, together promote more mobile playstyles. It was a thing on Whirlwind and was noticeable to some extent on cross Frost (despite it being mirrored)
rotational symmetry for best maps in Starcraft #whirlwind #rotational4pmaps
edit: holy cow this game is bonkers
