I believe that's wrong. I'm pretty sure I saw Jaedong make the 3rd hatch before pool. And though I don't speak korean I swear I heard them saying what had to be 3 hatchery no pool.

On one hand I find typical ZvT slugfests epic in their own right, like Jaedong vs Iris and plenty others, but I like these twisted games that force players to play "off-timing" and pull out innovation for the win. It happened with Boxer and Ra and UpMagic a lot, maybe Mind's going to turn out like that. Also in fairness to mind, you have to say kudos to Jaedong for bouncing back with an unorthodox counter attack. You can't forget Casy TvZ. Gmes around 15-17 minutes long where Casy just rolls out and DESTROYS the zerg before he gets hive tech.

Definitely possible, it just seemed the pool was really far along when they showed it, but I could definitely be wrong.

where were all you rabid jaedong fans while he was getting his ass kicked in two out of the three major events that are currently taking place? he didn't play just a couple of games vs flash, so that you can somehow argue that flash's wins don't count because it was a one-time thing. they played a total of 10 games! so how about we give flash the credit he is due, for defeating jaedong twice when a lot was at stake.
the argument that flash didn't "really" defeat jaedong because he used such and such strats (the hidden implication being that he should have used some particular standard strat) has a lot in comon with "5 mins no rush plz!!11!!"

The option and the threat of fakes, rushes, cheeses, proxies, mind games, fast techs, hidden techs, etc. makes the game SO much more interesting.
Yeah, it is true...but I'd like such things to happen not that often, specially when we have a matchup of two great players.

Only like few guys here didn't give Flash credit for being 5-5 with JD. Mind is another thing, though .

It probably came out with a VERY slight edge to mind, but also a large hole while he added rax and massed a mnm army. Jaedong exploited this perfectly. I am disappointed in mind's late bunkers though. But jaedong did an excellent job of denying scouting with the spire + scourge and then sneakily going lurk + mass ling.
Yeah right on second thought but in the moment pissed off fanboyism > mind (lol no pun intended).
I'd also say it was 3 hatch before pool. Just my 2 cents.

Rushes are perfectly legit. You don't want to play into the other guy's game plan. You want to exploit his weaknesses and make him react to you, that way you're one step ahead. Likewise, a player doesn't need to beat the Bisu build head on, that's stupid. They can just prevent it from happening in the first place.
Also, Jaedong 3 hatched before pool.

I give full credit to Flash.
