Two of my recent videos, hope you guys like them. I think no more than 5 different colored pastel pencils are used for the still life (not counting black and white) A lot of mixing to get the shades in between, but you can achieve something fairly realistic with just a handful of colors.

This is the first time I post on someone's blog. Not that this is important but I tend to not read any. I'm glad, I didn't ignore this one! That's just awesome and fascinating!!! Not only these two but all the rest of your drawings. I like the Game of Thrones drawings the most ("most" but only because of the series xD)... Really, really awesome work, every drawing is a masterpiece there!!

The shadows on the plate and the glass's reflection of itself and the juiciness of the lemons and the metallicness of the spoon. It's all too much to handle.

Wtf... I don't know how you can see all of the details like the lighting on spoons and subtle shadows. You must have like, trained yourself to be able to see those kinds of things...

Exactly what I was thinking. It's pretty mindblowing watching it come to life with each additional application of charcoal. Incredible blending of colors as well.
