I'm a bit scared though - both sOs and Maru have both crashed out of group stages lately. I really hope sOs can perform in his GSL group.

I'm sure he would have made top 5 in season 1 and he would have been in the season finals in season 2 so he would have had a really great shot at making blizzcon. Yep, the season finals would have got him through to the top 16 I believe. To be honest I still cannot believe he won't go to Blizzcon. Also it was really painful to see him so devastated after the game vs Stats.

I am still a big fan of Maru but I really hope he can regain some of his old dominance. This year has not been a good year at all.

I was really sad at first when I realised that Maru can't get into Blizzcon, but then I realised that if he can't make it out of the group, if he can't even beat Stats, he doesn't deserve to get into Blizzcon anyway. Korea is incredibly stacked and you have to get at least bit lucky to get Blizzcon from just playing in GSL.

Huge prizepool; sure. I don't think that Blizzcon is comparable to a GSL in terms of of amount of good players and the conditions they play in (standard LAN, no preparation). Not to say Blizzcon sucks, just that GSL is the tournament where all the monsters play.

After proleague finished, Maru's performance has been somewhat slowed down. He showed us a glimpse of power on game 2 against Parting. Top 8 at 4 consecutive WCS Korea and highest scorer on Proleague? Who can match that? I think he's a little burnt out, maybe it's best for him to take a break and come back strong next year. All great players still have ups and down. He's just a kid after all.

Only GSL and Proleague? Those are the most difficult tournaments, period. Huge prizepool; sure. KeSpa players... can travel but they choose not to. or there teams do. dont pity players that dont make it. there fault.

Especially SPL, where you have the added pressure of being there for your team. Indeed, Kespa players regularly can go to LAN events, but that does have its price, unlike foreigners who don't have the pressure of SPL. GSL is also a ridiculously stacked tournament, unlike WCS foreigners. ~generally speaking anyway, but there's no denying that it's tough for Koreans playing in Korea

Still, good luck next year, I'll be cheering for him no matter what. dont worry the best terran, flash, will make it
