Scores: 164 blind, 116, 154
Game 1: The computer automatically bowled approximately my average but my team still lost because the other team was three low averaging girls who all broke 100 in the same game ._.
Game 2: I went from 2 hours of stressful New York City traffic, to arguing with the bowling officials, to bowling 5 consecutive frames while needing to go to the bathroom, all the while trying to adapt to annoying conditions: dry lanes. Basically, I got pwned this game hardcore with many missed spares and no way to get all 10 pins to go down on the same throw :-/
Game 3: By this point I was starting to get the hang of the conditions and was calmed down a bit, which explains the increase in score but I still bowled poorly for several reasons. One was I was getting very unlucky with leaving 10 pins for whatever reason (probably because it was dry causing a shift in my ball's approach angle as it entered the pocket). Another was I don't bowl well in dry conditions to begin with. Fortunately my partner opened with a 7 bagger and that alone put us far enough ahead that we took at least 1 out of 3 games.
Conclusion: Hopefully next week I'll be much more calm and the lane conditions will be optimal. Still, it's humorous that from my last game last week to my first game this week (save the blind game) I went down 121 pins.
