What? That's not what it looked like to me at all. It looked more like Dig just kept having bad communication throughout for team fights and couldn't make up their mind on calls.

If XDG can draw a solid support like sheep I see no reason dig can't draw someone better should they go ahead with benching kiwikid. I don't think they'll bench kiwi though, he'll probably have to tighten up his playstyle (Less unnecessarily risky roams and chill out with the initations seriously) but he gets along so well with qtpie for if nothing but the sake of convenience he's probably going to stay. Cruzerino for a bruzerino on the other hand, I like his lee sin and jayce but outside of those two he's very oh god what dig might want a more solid and diverse top. As for scarra, his teamfighting was pretty good today but laning still felt incredibly suspect the first two deaths were definitely avoidable but give him a chance since he's relatively fresh out of retirement

To be fair, he's been a tremendous surprise this season. I thought he was going to be awful, but there were games this split where he actually put Dig on his back from support. This performance was pretty awful though. Dig still make the exact same dumb mistakes they made a year ago, and it was obvious they didn't trust each other these last two games. They're going to have to spend a good amount of time figuring it out. On the off-chance Kiwi gets benched I hope they bring in Sheep since he demonstrated he could support on an LCS level and he and Qt apparently get along quite well.
I can see Dig bringing in mancloud and sheep.

I pretty much agree with this.
Rooting for Dig is exhausting, and I almost wanted them to get relegated just to light a fire under their asses and their management's asses. I hope they can figure their shit out, and get a better team together.
They make the same strategical mistakes almost every other game and nothing seems to fix it. I think Crumbzz is a very talented and often underrated jungler, but man, if he was the main shotcaller this season (which was emphasized every week), he fucking sucks at shotcalling mid-lategame. The inability to find new talent is frustrating too. They filled their empty spots with Cruzer, Kiwikid, and GoldenGlue. None of those players are particularly solid talent, and they're really lucky Kiwi worked out because it could've been a complete disaster. Hearing that management paid an enormous sum to get GoldenGlue was really disheartening too. They paid a boatload of money bring in a guy who couldn't even come live with them, and ended up only being used for two weeks of the LCS. That's pathetic, and what bothers me the most. Their "front office", if you will, seems like it has no idea what it's doing, and it feels like they let the players have way too much influence on roster decisions.

the thing about dig is that they always seem to just be content with not going to relegations lol.

Well..like i said yesterday..In a dive comp..orianna is so much better..She won them those team fights....Anyway gg to Dig..Glad to see them not relegated..Coast will make into LCS again defeating col black..But EG and XDG might find it difficult in promotional series..

Dyrus is rather interesting imo. From interviews, you can tell he has a modicum of dislike for CLG (Dyrus doesn't ever pay CLG a compliment, says Crs > CLG, etc) and I think he actually plays his best against them. For a lack of a better word, that level of "hunger" is a great motivator. If Regi/TSM can harness that mentality for Dyrus and have him apply it regularly, Dyrus can continue to impress, rather than just good.

After that brutal, brutal loss, I really hope CLG realizes Nien has got to go. I've been defending the guy for his entire tenure on CLG and now, after that magnificent choke job, I understand there's no hope for this guy. The experiment has failed. This motherfucker constantly talks about wanting to be the best top laner in the world and competing against Shy and Impact and shit, and yet he still makes the same mistakes over and over and over again. I've never seen anyone like Nien. He can't lane. He's plays cocky. He's way too greedy at the wrong times and he has the inexplicable ability to throw in the most random ways possible. But the worst, the absolute WORST part about him is that even after two fucking seasons, he hasn't fixed ANY of these problems that he's had since day 1. Nien may have good teamfight mechanics, and he might be the teamfight top laner CLG want him to be, but do they seriously believe they can compete internationally with this fucking guy? He got dumpstered by fucking Dyrus, the same Dyrus who went 0-10 on Vlad at World's.
I can understand Link going on tilt in that series. He got hooked by an Xpecial who was playing out of his fucking mind. (Flash wasn't up, by the way.) You know what? Shit happens. You know what I can't understand? Nien staying bot with 2k gold and still disrespecting Dyrus's kill potential even after getting 1v1'd by Zion earlier in the season because he stayed in lane without basing for too long. Like, is he even trying to learn from his mistakes? Not to mention he somehow fucked up a ward jump (how is that even possible???) and effectively sealed the game by sitting in tribrush for no reason while TSM collapsed around him. He literally outplays himself. The man looked like he was going in cardiac arrest because he had to lane versus fucking Renekton. He's been playing top at a professional level for almost a year now and he can't lane against the most consistently played top lane champion since the beginning of season 3. It's just sad at this point. I like the guy but it's obvious that if CLG wants to be one of the best teams in the world, they have to do something about Nien, because I honestly don't see him getting any better at this point. As long as CLG has a top laner who can't carry himself out of mid Diamond I, they'll always have a weak link that can and will be abused.
I've stuck with CLG since the beginning, and while other losses may have hurt, this one fucking burns. They were so close, but I think in the end their status as the "new" competitor and their lack of confidence (specifically Link and Nien) really cost them.Even if they decided to keep Nien, I just hope this experience will prepare them for when it really matters. It's weird - Doublelift used to be "that guy" who just started doing stupid shit once things turned south. Now, even after that massive game 2 throw, he was totally composed going into game 3. CLG was the feelgood story of the split. Nien and Link have never been a part of a "good" team up to this point, which I think caused them to be a little too hyphy and excited and in turn caused them to tilt when it all went to shit (Dexter has this problem too, but I think that's from overconfidence, not under). Hopefully by the time next Summer Playoffs comes around, they won't see themselves as the underdog and be able to play more calmly and stick to their game plan. That way, even if they lose, I'll know played their best, which is all a fan could really ask for.

Oddone's Nocturne in Game 3 was pretty similar to what Dexter did in Game 1. Both teams got ahead, could basically do whatever they wanted. Game 2, Dexter cost them that Baron with his trigger happy ult after Link got hooked.
Also, whoever was calling the shots in Game 1 on TSM needs to just go. So many poor decisions made that game in terms of execution and not playing to their team comps strengths. And that first team fight near mid turret where TSM split and Xpecial/Dyrus basically pussied out was very poor communication from TSM. Kudos to whoever was able to shore that up midgame, because they did a much better job in the second half of Game 2 and Game 3 in being on the same page.
CLG picked fairly poorly in Game 2 IMO with the Vayne pick. You'd already locked in that split pushing Jax, and you basically want to have Vayne split push as well for the 1-3-1 in order to ramp up for the late game. But what's to stop TSM from just barreling 5 straight down mid and forcing the 5v3/4v3? I just think with the way games are played now, there's so much emphasis on midgame teamfights and you really can't afford to pick a super weak midgame champion in Vayne that needs items and farm before she becomes relevant. Imagine if they had a Caitlyn or Lucian that have strong early-mid games fighting alongside the other three while Jax *theoretically* should be able to take care of Mundo. That allows Jax to get farm, scale, and carry the game from the slight early game gold advantage they accrued.
Instead Doublelift basically got greedy, wanted to Vayne, and wanted to split push for EXP and farm costing them basically Game 2 because TSM was able to constantly engage upon CLG. It's pretty much the same reason why Dignitas lost Game 2. Imaqtpie got super fucking greedy with solo exp and was never fighting with the team when Coast forced fights with good map movement across the lanes. Doublelift basically just wasn't there because he was splitting top for a long time, and when he was there he was a super non-factor because he just never got ramped up and got fucked instantly.
Also, Nien blows.

Nien was a beast in Game 1 and for game 3 he used tp instantly. Renekton matchup isn't gift for Trundle. He could do a bit better ofc, but considering how he was tilting before the game, oh boy.
It's just endless problem of CLG. Rosters are changing, someone still chokes in the last game of series. Doublelift and Aphromoo just need to make them relaxed before games and CLG will be on Worlds.

What do you mean by weak midgame for Vayne, Roffles? I can see it for teamfights in particular, but as a splitpusher she becomes fine as soon as she has BotRK, which is pretty darn early and lets her do her thing; Then again, I missed the first 2 games but if CLG didn't have something like Ziggs to hold the 5v3 mid I guess it's an awkward pick...

Wow, Monte is going to be pissed lol. CLG gives away their huge advantage of playing the macro game better and understanding 4.5 way better than TSM and decides to go 2v2 lanes and play random poke comfort picks into a dive comp by TSM? That's just fucking stupid. Who is their coach at the venue? That guy needs to be fired. The coach at the venue must be a smart guy that understands the game and also understand when his team needs a psychological boost he is responsible to calm them down and give them the confidence to stomp the kids on the other side. Huge disappointment because CLG surrendered the series and TSM did nothing special in game 3 to win it. The main problem with CLG is that their administration and coaching staff are fucking shit for a premier team and Monte can't save them without a bigger role in the organisation.

Nien has been given way too many chances and this is just an excuse. He seriously needs to be benched, he is probably the worst top laner in the LCS at the moment. It's not like it would be difficult to find someone who doesn't lose his lane 100% of games.
