If you have a critique, why not elaborate and help make this new project better, instead of cursing those who put time and effort into making it a reality?

Yeah, I sort of wish this would stay on tl (although I would hardly be a hardcore member of the HS community). It's kind of nice to have stuff all in the same place.

you can become the new cool kid on liquid hearth by getting the most posts early!
think about it it's your chance to become a forum veteran and gain the respect of your peers by having the earliest join date!

well, personally, I don't really care, because I've stopped playing Hearthstone quite some time ago. But it's cool to see the TL brand grow. Good luck to the new site!

Okay, what?

tbh im really disapointed that you guys didnt tried something new with design and programming
TL is seriously outdated, i can understand that the main website stays like this because to much changes would just drive the community away but why not try to make something more modern with this new website.

This has been discussed back and forth on the staff forums a lot for a while now and I think Nazgul might be better suited to explain it in depth if he wants to, but there is a feeling (one that I share) that TL would get crowded if this one site keeps on expanding into new games and more extensive coverage of more games. People already feel that the site feels less personal and more scattered now than years ago, imagine what would happen if two new sub-sections (each with, arguably, their own sub-communities) were to appear. The site is big as it is, making it even bigger makes it overwhelming for people coming here for the first time.

I think one concern is that you might lose a lot of the interaction that happens between communities if one group goes off to the hearthstone site and the other group stays. People for whom TL is more social might find their friends have left.
Either way, congrats on launching a site. It's a lot of work, I hope it's a success.

Really awesome work. Thank you to everyone that made this happen! I have to admit that I've definitely been spending more time watching and playing Hearthstone than BW, SC2, or Dota over the past few months, so it's nice to have a lot more content to browse than just one disorganized subforum. I know there are a lot of other Hearthstone sites out there, but I'm kind of a creature of habit and still gravitated to TL the most. Though having everything consolidated here would be convenient in some ways, overall I agree with the move to spin the HS coverage off as a whole new site. I still love TL, but design-wise it's on the verge of feeling to cluttered as is.

Is hearthstone actually that big to warrant a sister site? The more you know...

It's big with the staff, which is almost (well, half of it anyway) all it takes.

I understand the reasons for the split, but I still think it is a bit sad.

I pressed f5 and the page turned red, quiet a shocker lol.
