People already feel that the site feels less personal and more scattered now than years ago, imagine what would happen if two new sub-sections (each with, arguably, their own sub-communities) were to appear. The site is big as it is, making it even bigger makes it overwhelming for people coming here for the first time. I can understand that reasoning but I don't agree. One thing I've always liked about TL.net is that it has been a place that ties various communities together (to some extent). Now I'm fearing that it this will cause more fractures in the community

Of the game we currently have on our website, Hearthstone would very much be the odd child out, as it doesn't have the kind of deep established roots in competition the same way BW/SC2/Dota do - Nazgul sort of alludes to this sentiment in his statement. When you combine the two factors of difficulty to fit on the website, along with fact that it doesn't have as snug a fit with our current games it makes it much more attractive to custom tailor a site specifically for Hearthstone needs. Are you suggesting that we will be seeing LiquidDiablo sometime in the near future.... #ohwait

To this I have to ask, is Hearthstone big enough to require a site of its own? I mean, it has only 6 subforums pertaining to hearthstone, and one of them is streams. While I can see the dichotomy between RTS games and card games, was splitting the site a necessity? Rather, if worried about overcrowding, why make such a narrowly focused site? The name itself is limiting the site to only hearthstone. I'm not against the site per se, but the concept of teamliquid dividing itself into separate specialty forums is bothersome. We already have a filter system to make the site cater more to what you want to follow. I also have some questions about the new site. Does this mean that teamliquid has a future invested in Hearthstone? Does this also mean that we should expect more expansion from teamliquid?

There is a possibility it just got removed from your sidebar. Go to settings and check if it's activated.
