Went there aswell and took some pictures, and it doesnt do justice to how... somehow shocking it feels to walk there and realise every single gravestone was a person. It's one of those thing you rationally know but never felt. + Show Spoiler + I'm probably a moron, but don't know why they wouldnt work linked via the function on the forum, so here's the links ^^ http://imgur.com/pZIm9qP http://imgur.com/38qPoue http://imgur.com/bg7RySo

The eruption of Cordon Caulle began on June 4, 2011, located in the Region of Los Rios in Chile. For about 12 months, people and animals became accustomed to living with the daily fall of ash, which also caused problems in the air traffic in South America. The explosions and lightning during first days of the eruption could be seen from hundreds of miles around. This photograph was taken on the second night of eruption from the town of Lago Ranco. This picture was taken from the top of the John Hancock building - 97 stories up - in Chicago, Illinois as fog rolled in from Lake Michigan.

The beach on the top left corner is nothing else but "Omaha beach". This quiet place (a place given to USA forever by France) is just the perfect place to honnor these soldiers for their last sleep. It's the cimetery you can see in the movie "Save private ryan" (Tom Hanks, Matt Damon), at the start and in the end.
