People should have finally figured out how low the importance of the regular season games is. Well may be for spring split, but in summer split, Season 3 World Championship is at stake.

There are tons of games and in the end it does barely matter if you get 1st or 6th places. Only important thing is to make sure to get not one of the 2 last places. Teams know that as well and at least for some of the EU teams I know that they barely prepare for the season. (Although many could not even practice if they wanted to because they are busy chasing visas for the retarded Moscow trip.) Instead they will use the regular season as the practice for the finals. So you will never know how hard a team actually tries or if they are only trying out stuff. The least thing Riot should do for giving teams an incentive to win is giving some prize money to the winner of every season match. They could offset that by lowering the monthly guaranteed salaries for example.

Ugh, I don't even want to think about having to start off the split playing catchup on a superweek.
