In other words, I am really asking if the LoL competition is going to go by the same rules as StarCraft has in the past where each college had all of its members under one unified roster and each week lineups would have to be submitted. Can someone answer this question for me?

This is going to be a huge problem for my team because we have only a few core SC2-only players, and large pool of mostly-LoL but ex-SC2 players who would be valuable to occasionally supplement or sub in for our SC2 matches. I very concerned that it's going to do a lot of damage to the cross-game interest that exists in student gaming organizations that mix multiple titles/interests. Hopefully the CSL doesn't overlook a reversal of this rule just based on a website limitation. If we don't get the ability to use our full-time LoL / retired SC2 players, our SC2 team (and many other schools) might die out before the season even starts...

I started the FIU CSL team this year. I was oiginally planning to play SCII before the big announcement. After the announcement I was forved to select LoL as I knew that there are more people who play LoL than SCII. However, I am sure there are multiple of the LoL players who also play SCII.

even if you have to code the website to only allow a player to play in one game PER WEEK, its much better than not allowing SC2 and LoL teams from the same university to use each others' players as alternates.
