NASL has an easy choice, as a foreign tournament just have it in the afternoon so all NA and EU can watch. I know that's a shame for Asia, but Asia has way less viewers than Europe and that way they get the most viewers for their finals.
GSL doesnt have a choice. They have to be convenient for Koreans and their sponsor. Its just by pure luck thats its somehow good time for EU (off course if you arent part of the workforce)

I just found out NASL finals is at Toronto! 20 minutes from me! Do I just go buy a ticket? is it free to attend live?

Frodan also came out and gave the lime all high fives, and that line was like 200m long!
Frodan is such a badass, mad respects to him. Especially for screaming at the top of his lungs when an amp blew at the event last night. Great job on his first live major.

For Ret vs. MC, I hope Ret wins because I think it's one of those things that he needs to feel that his hard work has paid off. Ret is very disappointed with himself every tournament and I think the guy needs the encouragement. Beating MC is great for that.
Sorry to say. Stephano will smash Alicia like how DRG smash Alicia back in MLG Championship. And Ret ZvP skill is nowhere near Stephano ZvP prowess.
MC will stomp Ret 4-0 or 4-1 considering MC has arguably the best ZvP and MC is 12-3 against Ret and never lost to Ret in a series in LAN ever.So no chance unless Ret somehow leveled up his ZvP.
This will be one of the most one-sided finals and third place you will see later.

Tickets are $25 at the door. Might want to get here quick, the room is filling up.

MAYBE if you hurry the hell up and get here. I heard security saying they might have to turn people away today.

I have to regularly stay up from 2:10 am to whenever it ends (usually around 5 - 6 am) for the GSL - in fact, I can safely say that the GSL is the prime reason why my sleep schedule is so fucked up. You EU guys can handle staying up for one measly day
Also, maybe the OP will actually get updated in a timely manner with opterown in charge :D

Stephano madeuncharacteristic mistakes vs Sase and Mana. He's on another level compared to Mana. Sase hit really good timings and exploite Stephano's mistakes. Stephano is definitely better than them (not by much compared to Sase though).

I'm hoping for a good final. Stephano will probably win 4-1 or 4-2. Good luck to Alicia for sure.
To ze bank!

Two days, i went to sleep at 4:30 in the morning. Anyway, it is summer, pulling an all-nighter is not that bad.

Stephano 2-0'd Alicia the last time they played. Stephano is the favorite. But he's been the favorite vs. a lot of players that he lost against due to overconfidence and sloppiness. I hope he treats Alicia the same way he treats HerO and MC - ie a huge obstacle instead of a walkover, because Alicia is going to be well prepared today and has the help of HerO and MC to boot. It's a $15,000 game.
For Ret, I'm not saying he's going to win, just that I hope he does. MC is the favorite there.

Let's be honest, only reason stephano lost to mana and sase was because he didn't know how to play against immortal/sentry allin, they were fortunate but that won't happen again.

It's nice here in northern Sweden where it rarely ever gets dark, so night or day doesn't matter But really, the venue is in Canada, it's only fair that it suits Canadians better than anyone else. We don't do Dreamhack finals at four in the morning so that Americans get it in prime time, that would just be ridiculous. Anyway, looking forward to this! I don't think Ret can win against MC, but I hope that he will put on some good games.

Really hope alicia can pull it off.

I hope that they do same thing as NASL S1 and hold the finals 3 hours early unannounced, so I could watch, but I think they wont T.T

You could try to buy a ticket to get inside, they had only 500 tickets at the door. If you go now you will probably be able to get in, but it looked really packed yesterday.

I can stay up later for the finals or even for some Proleague matches at the weekend (they end in the morning). But I can't watch late over the workdays and I can't watch GSL because they run when I'm at work.
