Well apparently he is getting the better end of this tournament, with 512 participants, so I think that means you are pretty consisten winner. Plus Vortix is constantly in the top 10 EU ladder, sure you know what you are talking about?

ROFL. As a chess player (National Master), you are partially correct in that some used to play inferior lines, but you are way off on the computers mostly figuring out chess parts. Only 6 piece positions have been fully solved, and a chess game starts with 32 pieces on a board, but I digress. Glad to see Vortix winning this

Randomly buildings mass lings at the weirdest/dumbest time to mass lings and getting an edge because of it. Same stuff last game with his awful play vs Select. And still he wins. Slush did very well in MLGs :p People get far too worked up about players not playing to some pre-conceived notion of "proper starcraft". Which makes it more fun when those players win. They never win anything though. Playing the Slush/Elfi/Vortix/Lowley style means you can always take a series off someone but you'll never be a consistent solid winner with it. Man, you really are delusional...

Such a risky move that people don't get punished enough for. Dude stop shitting on him, it's not even cute anymore, he's 2-0 against a very skilled opponent.

Such a risky move that people don't get punished enough for. That happens way too much in zvt. So many games have been decided because the zerg burrowed 8 infestors and covered all the tanks in infested terrans, makes me angry that people actually let it happen.

Plus given the growth of other tournaments TSL isn't really mandatory like it was a year ago.

Slush used to win too and so does Lowley. Elfi beats people as well. There's obviously a place in the Sc2 metagame for players who do stupid things their opponents wouldn't expect. Maybe it's precisely the fact that their opponents don't expect them that makes these things ... not stupid?
