....aaand the TvZ battlereport only supported my previous view that Terrans are getting shafted in HoTS. They are getting the weakest (which could be balanced) and most boring (which sadly couldn't) additions from all races.
But the one mine detonation was kinda funny, I'll give you that. Too bad other things were rather cryworthy.

This pseudo spider mines look terrible. Build at the Fac. Move over Map on there own. Attache themselves to a unit (in a certain range !!!). cant be denied. Not slightly as in BW... and yes BW is the thing to beat for them... But yeah A move units are awesome.....

WoL's not Terran game, where the fuck that sentinent comes from? It's singleplayer is T centered, just as HotS will be Z centered. Multiplayer experience should be equally balanced and fun for all races, otherwise Blizz is failing big time.

Why do people keep insisting that it's ok for a race to be OP because it's "their expansion"? That makes no sense. Maybe we should all just switch to protoss because they are allowed to be broken in the last expansion.

I love everything they're showing with the exception of the warhound maybe (but I haven't really looked at it too closely). I think they need to make the widow mines better though because they don't seem very good for how expensive they are. It really isn't a big deterrent if it doesn't punish carelessness.
Anyways, I kinda wish that Terran was getting as much cool stuff as Zerg and Protoss is. As far as balance goes I'm sure it will get figured out. I just wish the Terran stuff was as creative and cool as the Zerg/Toss stuff is.
For spectators HoTS is gonna be seriously awesome. I loved the battle report even though those guys are clearly not pro caliber. It's gonna be insane to see what kinds of new tactics come about.

Hell, load some with mines, load some with marines, and do multi-pronged drops.

Zerg: I think they did perfect job. I love units like vipers where you need to think more strategically compared to just attack move. Also that swarm is very nice unit. Its great positional unit.
Protoss: I think they went too much here. Mass recall, mass cloak, deny mining, cannon base... and that stupid tempest. I hate boring units like that. I mean, it doesn't have to be imbalanced to suck. It can also be very boring. Its just click attack unit. Personally I think they should just tweak carrier and make it more viable. That unit have so much potential and to show people with true multitask skill. I suggest swap tempest for carrier, some minor balance tweaks and protoss would be also great. Agree with all this.

No real point microing to pull 1-3 small units. The best bet for now is to make the Abduct skill a required research (maybe at Hive tech or something) or to significantly increase its casting cost. Hope that it somehow works out.
