I dunno if he really would want to play 100% serious for 1,500$ when he has GSL Code-S to prepare for.

naniwa's MLG group
DongRaeGu NaNiwa DeMusliM HayprO
this group is definitely easy for him.
demu/haypro no match for naniwa.
|
MLG looks doable for Naniwa at least pool stage anyways. I'd say haypro and demu are still threats especially if they opt to rush Nani since he will likely underestimate them. That said I have faith that if he puts his mind to it he can show his usual level of impressive skill. DRG will likely be the biggest challenge but between them it's probably going to be a lot of mindgames.

One question i have about naniwa, is that he used to be famous for being the safest player in the world, back this time last year... I remember people would try to proxy him and he would scout everything always, and then crush the proxies, but now it is the opposite, like in the blizzard cup against MMA for example. I feel like maybe naniwa has started to feel that he can only be the best if he cuts a lot of corners maybe? I don't know, but i can't wait to see him play soon!
Go go nani! Quantic fighting!

He's been in Korea son, You need to take risk's to make it big! Playing safe won't cut it anymore. and he knows !^^

He has no zergs in his group in code s, so no strats to hide there... Ret just played better this time, probably a lot because he had been focusing ZvP for the whole LAN
