my favourite naniwa quote was when he was in a pvp on korean ladder, nani doesnt scout even after he put down core and gas, then 2 zealots show up in his base, he micro w/ stalker n probes, loses and says: "is this productive use of ladder time?" rofl mayb the korean guy doesnt speak english or was too lazy to say anything, i thought it was hilarious cuz he doesnt scout and blame his oppponent for wasting ladder time, but seriously, nani should treat each ladder game as the ace match in a bo5, u scout ur base in every pvp, if u get into habit then u shouldnt lose to proxy

That was probably his 40th game that session, with a specific strat in mind, and overlooked scouting absolutely everywhere with his 12scout. He could have said much worse things to that guy. And besides, he meant that it was a waste because even if he'd scouted it, he's still defending proxy gates, which someone like nani can do with one nut tied behind his ass. Time would probably be better spent doing something other than defending proxy gates.

It's not Nani's best showing at an MLG thus far but no one wins all the time. That said I'm hoping he plays well against the open bracket players tomorrow and makes an impressive run on sunday. If he can bring the solid play he had vs Demuslim he can still have decent results. Mostly for his sake I'm just hoping he can keep himself in the place he needs to be mentally.

Loseing to Hayder is simply not good enough. Atm I would not consider him up with Stephano and Huk as best forigner.

My hope is that he is going all in for GSL and have focused 100% on PvP and PvT

Losing to Haypro one day and defeating JYP the next? I know it's Z and P, but still...JYP was Code S last season.
Also, casting...2nd game Nani snipes an observer, loses a stalker if that much. Random caster: "ZOMGZOMG Nani's overextended a bit there!!!"

Typical Nani, start MLG off with some losses then take second in group anyways ^-^. Tomorrow is gonna be interesting since it will probably be MC or Oz he has to face to move on and all of them are amazing at PvP. I feel happy with the way he turned his results around but I have a feeling anything not top 3 will be a dissapointment to Nani.

* Chasing JYP's army with his own was hilarious to watch though.

I remember when he made his stream thread, he listed himself as the "loser of tsl 3" as one of his achievements rather than "runner up" or something similar that anyone else in the universe would have said.

I admire how hard Nani is on himself and yet it worries me because he has so many good showings that might as well not exist so far as he's concerned. It was painful watching him after the eu b.net invitational. The polish crowd was cheering for him, he had a hard earned 2nd place, 5k and a trip to blizzcon but he was so unimpressed with himself. That drive to win is inspiring but it can also lead to overstressing and burnout. For the moment he seems really happy though living in the startale house and Sase seems to be a really good influence on his mental state.

I'm still hoping for him to turn boss mode on tomorrow though and carry that momentum into code S in a couple weeks.

Playing against the winner of Polt (most likely, but Oz might still win at this point) vs MC and if he proceeds, he's up against the winner of Huk vs Stc or Crazymoving (or Socke - at this point Crazy's about to win though).
