To ensure this thread won't be closed, you must adhere to several a number of simple rules; - Please use spoilers when quoting a post with pictures and/or videos.
- When posting large quantities of media (pictures or videos), please begin spoilering after the first piece. Grouping related videos in the same spoilers & labeling is recommended.
- No reposting of old material unless justified
- Posting any material with little or no relevent discussion accompanying it
- No passion-induced flaming of each other because 'x said y sucked' etc.
- Keep the expression hate of music individuals/groups to a minimal level
- No 'pagetopping' in any form whatsoever, as it constitutes spam equal to posts similar to 'first'.
- No vulgar fan fics or wet dream stories. It is creepy, weird, and it dehumanizes the people who you are here to celebrate/discuss.
- Normal posting standards that you find throughout the rest of the site still apply and will be enforced more strictly from here forward (2012/03/11)
Due to the poor nature of this thread in the past, temporary two-day bans will occur more than often if people slip up. |
+ Show Spoiler +"Well ok it's the new phenomenon of the Korean pop, the "K-Pop". They reached 50 million views on Youtube and gathered one thousand fans watching them perform in Bercy (T/N: the stadium in Paris where MuBank took place). [...] They call themselves Girl's Generation and they're here, on Le Grand Journal, for their first television show in France, please welcome SNSD with their single The Boys."
*Performance, followed by random commentaries by the male French guests*
"It's quite rare to see such a phenomenon", "I don't know which one to choose, I find them all charming", then some talk about them touring in Belgium soon (what).
How did the group get created
Sooyoung: SNSD is a group that consists of 9 girls. We've been recruited very young, as for the casting, it took place very early and that's how we got together. (T/N: That's what the French translator lady said. Either she botched it up or Sooyoung was hesitant, dunno).
What do you think about your welcome in France? What do you think of your French fans?
Tiffany: This is our second time we've been in France but only our first time on a French television show. And we're really very happy and as you see, everyone's been participating *interrupted by cheers*
Thank you very much.
50 million views on youtube? One thousand fans in Bercy? That's severely misinformed or just badly guessed. Gee alone has 65 million, The Boys has 35. And Bercy was definitely fuller than that.

No you need that taengoo and IU. That's all you need.
