I was always a lurker and never much of a writer.
Before you start reading I warn you that there might be some mistakes since my English isn't the best.
So.. where to start. I come from a small EU country called Croatian all in all a nice place. I live together with my older brother and my mum. I was a ordinary kid but that all changed really fast. My relatives opened a place where you can play PC games and that was like 10 years ago. I started going there and I loved playing games from that day forward I became linked to games and that changed my life for ever in a good way at least that's what I would like to think.
Years past and I played games such as CS, wc3, sc and such. After some time my brother went to America for a year and I talked to him a lot through MSN and from no where he started talking about Starcraft. Ofc I played that game before but he was talking about Jeadong, Boxer, Bisu and others and that was so confusing to me. When he showed me the games it really looked great I even couldn't have believed that there was such a thing as a competitive gaming or E-sport. We watched Nukethestars and it was really fun he was way more into it than me but still it was really fun.
Not so long after Starcraft 2 came and we both liked it. We got into beta and played the game. Tbh we played like 50 games in few months and that was a lot for us I think it had to do with the "ladder fear". After that is when I got hooked to the game most. I watched Day9 and others but Day9 was the one I watched the most. I really loved the community from watching casters to TL. The game was really fun because beside it being really fun it united an had a epic community like no other I ever saw in my life and I still think this to this day.
Time past and I got a unique opportunity to go to America to visit my relatives and I was really happy since I love to travel and one of my dreams is to see the world. To cut things short soon I saw that there was a tournament in Anaheim. Tbh I didn't know that that's near me since coming from Europe my Geography of USA isn't the best. One day my aunt decided to take my to Disneyland which I enjoyed greatly that's a story for itself. On the way back I saw an MLG sign on the road and I couldn't believe it. When I got home I did my research and saw that MLG Anaheim is just a week away. When I told everything to my aunt she said that she will take me to watch it which was really awesome of her!
There I had a time of my life. It's an every starcraft 2 fan to see a tournament as big as that. So many people and they are all here to play and watch games that was so epic. First time I entered I saw so many sc2 players I was so nervous to talk to anyone but soon that was gone. I started talking to people and made a lot of new friends. I even got to meet many players and talk to them here are some pics.

Only thing I was sad about was not meeting Idra since I am a huge fan of him always liked to watch him play.
All people that I met where awesome and I really hope I will go to another tournament like that at least once more in my life. I still remember the game between Boxer and Rain I think it was more than a hour long it was so epic both controlled their half of the map with full supply armies. That day one of the first people I met was Day9. I went to get some fresh air and on the way out I saw Day9 at first I thought I was imaging it. But it was really him entering and casually walking in. I was so nervous but I pulled my self together and went to say hello. I just want to thank every guy I met there because you guys rock
My trip finally got to an end and I needed to return back to Croatia but I definitely remember it as one of my best times in my life. After I returned I got a special motivation to play sc2 and I started playing and finally got to masters as Zerg it was really fun. Spent a lot of time playing with people from Croatia the community here is really nice there maybe not a lot of people playing sc2 but the ones that are playing are awesome. Big shoutout to everyone making sc2 in Croatia awesome from people leading the community sites to people playing it.
To get back to the topic soon there was a tournament in Croatia a "LAN" tournament ( ESWC Croatia). I was really excited because I didn't meet a lot of people that I played with. The day of the tournament came and I was a little nervous since I was planning on playing there. When I got there I couldn't believe that there were almost 80 people there wanting to watch and play sc2. I met a lot of new people and finally saw some of the guys I was playing online it was really fun and awesome. I got to be second in the end and it was really fun. Not so long after I took a break from sc2 for a month or so and this day came. New year past and I decided to get back to Starcraft to play and enjoy it with my friends. I really love gaming and so far I enjoyed it to the fullest and this is just a start. Currently I am trying to make a fun oriented gaming youtube channel still work in progress and have fun playing games with my friends.
