I tried to decide what to do for my birthday and my (upcoming) 3000th post. After rumbling through my head for ideas I came up with something I should have done years ago. I created this blog back in late 2009 with the intention of it being a series of chapters of a story me and a friend wrote back in the lower grades of school (see the title of the blog.) However it turned out to be random posts about anything. Today I decide to stick with my original plan and I present to you, freshly translated from poor swedish to even poorer english, the first chapter of:
Prologue.
Under which the Mayor discovers that his little daughter Amélia has disappeared, just as he is about to take a hot bath on the top floor of his grand, majestic, castlelike kingdom. Which by the way was built in the beginning of 1630, valued well over 23 million kronor. The daughter is the only thing that he truly values deep within is big fat heart. He also gains 21 kilos of pure fat, because when he is moaning he craves loads of easily salted dates (which contains fat.)
Chapter 1
Monday the 13th of august, 1930, a cold foggy evening in one of the most quiet blocks of the English suburb Bountmore. Café Tranåsen, potato pancakes and melon tea, captain Affrock and detective Shean Plomme is having a good night out.
- “Awfully good potato cakes they got here!” captain Affrock mumbled.
- “The tea wasn’t that bad either, to add a point to your story.” Shean plomme said. “Fucking shame that the Mayor decides to lose his kid just as I go on holiday… damn groinjob!”
- “But you’ve had time to rest a couple of weeks, right?” captain Affrock said.
- “Yeah but when you finally, for once, get one bloody month off work from this pissjob, a new mission appears in this usually quiet and lame neighbourhood… fuck that!” Shean Plomme said.
