Map of choice: Outpost Race: Terran Races of the AI: 4 Zerg Basic Tactic: Grab 2 factories and pump tanks to hold waves of roaches. Expand slowly while advancing tanks to the low ground. Max out on primarily tank with some marine and medivac support. Push slowly with about 2/3 of your army, leaving some tanks at home on the lowground to defend. I tried the 1vs 3VH last night with everyone as Terran (including myself). I was on Lava Flow, I massed abot 24 BCs with 3-3 upgrades. The AI has gotten smarter because they went mostly Vikings and kicked my ass. I'll try it later with Protoss with Carriers and a MS.
Don't use capital air, the ai masses anti-air because you are on an island. The best response is to mass Thor I think. (Definitely best vz Zerg)
Also, how you gonna do lava flow strat as Protoss? lol.
Edit: If you really want to do BC vs other Terran make a ridiculous amount of missile turrets and keep your bc away from the front line. Terran has no siege air that can take out missile turrets.

That requires a lot of Vacs to quickly move them off the island.

Duh. Dumb of me, I forgot I was using an island.

That's what I did, but they would never proactively attack me.

Battlecruisers can technically outrange-oneshot Missle Turrets, but appearantly the AI does not use them. Also your landing after starving the Zerg was the most risky part of your Lava Flow match if I recall correctly, because the green zerg still had 5000 minerals and 1800 gas they did not spend until you landed on the mainland.

Except I had 32 Thor and 6k 4k, banked for another 20 thor. I don't recall it being much risky. I think I lost one thor? But yeah its much easier than BC imo. Basically because Thors are MUCH MUCH better against broodlords comparatively, than BattleCruiser are against corruptor.
Out of curiousity, when you try vs other Terran, do they siege your missile turrets on island with tanks from mainland?
@ OP, congrats on getting the achieve and WD for getting it.
Just wanted to dispell the comment that cannon rushing on Megaton cannot be done since 1.4.1.
I put up a guide here:
Long story short, you need to 'back-door' your first opponent and move to disable the 2nd very quickly. There are a few other helpful details in the video, but TBH I'm by no means great and completed this on my first try since the new patch.
Thank you for proving me wrong, I will correct it in my original post. I guess the seven tries I did when the other two AI moved against my economy and ignored my cannons was bad luck.

Seven tries, ugh! That sucks!
If you hadn't already done it, I'd be looking to analyse replays.
Do you mind if I take your successful replay from this thread and add it as an alternative strategy to my video comments? With credit of course.
Wow, I already tried at least 10 times and everytime, the two other AI gets 4 immortals and a bunch of stalkers and rips my cannons apart. Getting really frustrated.

Ergh, that's awful!
Are you using an "Aggro pylon" in their base to distract workers from mining?

Ya, I am. but later on, they just somehow get immortals because you build it in the back of their base and my cannons can't reach them until its too late.
But you know what they say, keep on trying! Going to do more matches with them and figure out the timing and what not from the replays and what to do. =D

The Terran on Lava Flow tactic (taking the island) is easier to execute, though more time consuming.
I decided to try it on Lava Flow and basically you need a corner base to start. Make SCVs, then make a supply, don't make an orbital, but keep making SCVs and then build a command center. At the same time, send out another SCV to the other side of the map towards the other island. Once your new command center is done, load it up with SCVs and float to the island. Then once your other command center is done, load that with SCVs and float to the other island. Once the AI attack which is around 5:30, load up your last command center with SCVs and float to the island. I played against 4 zerg. So you now have 2 command centers at one island and one command center at another island. At this point, I turned them into orbital command centers, one at a time, not all at the same time and then I started to build gas, barracks and then a factory. I also built 2 engineering bays and upgraded everything, first turret range, hardened materials, bunker capacity, and then weapons and armor. I built 4 bunkers at my base and filled them with marines and made sure they were behind my turrets. The difference in my strategy was that I went with ghosts since snipe pretty much is unlimited energy and with marines and medivacs. You will be constantly attacked at both islands, although I was mainly attacked at the island with 2 command centers at the start. Once I built my 4th command center, they started to push hard against that island. I almost lost the island because I used up most of my snipe energy and only had a few marines, so that's when I started to a few tanks and a valkyrie and then started to bomb from the island. They kept using drop overlords with hydralisks, banelings, zerglings and roaches, but I held them off. This took a long time, but I was pretty satisfied with it. If you want me to post my replay I can, just let me know. I had a ton of minerals and gas left and once everyone was mined out, I just dropped my marines and finished off them off.
