I have been instructed several times that if I want a personal rift to be expressed on teamliquid that I must post it in the blog section. This one is short, sweet, and a good lulz, nothing really personal except for the declaration (and if needed proof) that iCCup:BW are a bunch of lying scum.
Here we go: http://www.iccup.com/starcraft/content/news/isl1_replays.html
"Keep in mind, that iCCup events and their replays will always be free, forever! We are in the process of planning awesome new tournaments and leagues, (including the iCCup Nation Wars, which is now underway) so you can expect a lot more to come in the near-future!"
Thank you for trying to work in a claim that anyone that currently works for iCCup had any hand in helping ISL. This is not true. In fact, 3 of the 6 major contributors workwise to ISL are IPBanned from iCCup. Fact is, no one on the current staff had anything to do with ISL, and under no circumstance would you be part of any successful events staff. iCCup has again and again failed to produce anything productive post-nOoNe as Head Admin of iCCup. Remember iCCup Attack? None of you. Remember when you guys actually had more than 40 viewer casts? None of you. (That one is super ironic because their first 40+ viewer cast since was today casting my clans playoff matches after Sayle - who is IPBanned from iCCup - suggested all of his viewers go watch it because he didn't want to cast anymore) Remember AoV iCCup Starleague? None of you. Speaking of AoV iCCup Starleague and iCCup:BW having nothing to do with it, I like how you guys just voided out the whole "AoV" part of ISL in your news post.
The worst part about it is that you no good lying bottom feeders tried to plug in a soon to be failure event (sorry Tenshi I know you're trying... but stamping iCCup's name on it was instant failure), aka Nation Wars. Not only was iCCup Starleague not an iCCup event, but no iCCup event will ever prosper - just as the fate of the server. It was AoV "iCCup" Starleague because of a favor to iCCup.nOoNe (who then had faith in your laughable server). You see, I had to beg the main sponsor to even incorporate iCCup's name, because he had the same exact thoughts of you that the public now has. Poor guy happened to be right. Naturally, the self-entitlement that was and still seems to be expressed by iCCup staff that had nothing to do with the starleague itself went overboard. Good job trying to bump your events though (lol).
The prerequisite to your treatment at iCCup as a server and a domain: "Achtung: if you flame in these news comments, you will die near-instantly." - iCCup.nina Head of News Hey guys, you better not say anything besides we love you and thank you for allowing us mere peons to be graced by your presence - or else!!
The funniest part about all of this is this: You're going to LOVE IT. "So one of the admins bought the rep pack and re-submitted these for free?" - [KiDCaNaDa]
"lol, no.
iCCup Rules state that iCCup is to receive free replays of every event hosted on The Abyss, so we can offer free Replay Packs for everybody.
So, ISL replays were demanded and received." - iCCup.Paladin Head of iCCup:BW
Fact is, three admins purchased the replay packs, and there was no such rule during ISL. Not to mention, no one demanded anything and you received less than nothing. You received that link and others from iCCup.radrel.
And Paladin, please tell me about your two lovely children. Maybe if you have three more your wife can receive a medal! Oh yeah, and you forgot...
*** Enjoy iCCup
P.S I have no intention of using my administrative link to disrupt the download of those replays and or whatever ones admins decided to pay for and contribute to ISL2 decided to share with ze Reich.

Haha I knew once someone released those replays, hell was gonna break loose.

Nah not hell, just want all the misinformation to be noted publicly. Summary: iCCup had nothing to do with ISL and are taking credit for it and then lying to people about how they acquired the replays. Notice the "P.S" being that I don't plan on administratively shutting the links down.

Sorry for not understanding this terribly well but does this mean that iCCup is going down the F'ing pipe?
|
ummm. I didn't release the replay pack. Also in terms of the firt nation war. I have spoken to rlm noone about this and we were not able to come to a agreement. Why just assume it was me or even just bring my personal information into it. not that its hidden or anything. But really. You have nothing better to do then lie.
He had assumed it would be friday even though I told him that was unable to happen. Tenshi even sent me a pm saying that if unable to come to full agreement it wasn't a problem that nation wars would be played on the first week.
I even pm'ed noone on thursday asking for sunday evening (this was a random date) and he either ignored the pm or simply thought I would agree to whatever time he set.
My auctual words were" that would be unlikely to happen since not all of my players would be able to attend,"

I'm an SC2 guy and I can see where you're coming from but that last line about his kids was hella creepy

ICCup's been going downhill for quite a while now.

^ This... 500x over. nOoNe was the last of the Mohicans. Although, not to take credit away from his staff... he clearly organized things very well. Sayle ran ladder, yeszero and Tenshi did excellent counter abuse, etc.

at some point you just watch the spectacle and grab some popcorn
talking about the iccup vs. all challengers o course, not the kids line *.*

I never really followed the foreign scene except for TSL2 (I started watching BW shortly before that), so from someone of an outsider perspective I can say that you all just look like a bunch of children. Grats guys.

Pretty immature move. Instead of just releasing replays and saying "here you go", there have to be several side-kicks such as "All ISL1 Replays For Free", "Keep in mind, that iCCup events and their replays will always be free, forever!". Totally missing the point why these replays have been sold, as an investment into the 2nd ISL, which has arrived and has $800 more in the prize pool than the original ISL had when it was announced. It's sad and depressing, alot of recent comments from iCCup looked like pure promotion for themselves, trying to make themselves look alot better.
And I have to 100% agree with the event stuff. I cannot remember any event besides iCC-CL that actually kept going. iCCup Attack was great, but it died just as it came. Before trying to brag numerous times about how they can help people to organize their stuff (after telling about the ISL2 shut down from Game's part, as if they want to tell the sponsor "we can do it"), but then not proving that with one single successful event, how could that attract anyone? I have no idea.

all the more reason for everyone to come on over to fish. where the games are plentiful, the ladder competition is fierce, and the narcissistic admins are non-existant!

kiante, after ISL2 ladder stage! Even though, I am only C rank right now, I am already getting tired of the amount of time I have to wait for getting games sometimes.

... You realize me and nOoNe organized iCCup Attack! right? Or that Sayle just started casting during these events? Hence I was the first player of iCCup Attack, and all players from LRM) were the followups? Scan before he was no longer LRM), then LRM)Semih... Ridiculous post by you. Heads up: I also was the one who approved (as the Head of Events for iCCup) Shauni (because he's a TL fan favorite) for the last episode. Thanks for the derailing though.
+ Show Spoiler [Proof] + Derp.
By the way if you aren't trolling and you just failed to read the OP correctly, I am not talking to the general public with "none of you", I am pointing out no current iCCup staff had a hand in the making or success of any prominent iCCup event. But thank you in any case for pointing out the truth of that statement, seeing how you remember and event from when nOoNe was the Head Admin.
