EPTToday Hellghost and Daaman played the winners bracket final. Both players couldn't agree on the matchup they would play, so they both went for random. The first game was, as all best of 3 matches, played at Lost Temple. It turned out to be a Terran (Daaman) vs Zerg (Hellghost). Daaman beat Hellghost with a traditional marine/medic/tank/vessel combination.

Because HG lost the first game he got to pick the next map. He decided they would play at Neo Forbidden Zone. Both went random again. Daaman ended up as Terran at 1, while HG got protoss at 5. After a while HG came out as the winner.

Hellghost: 1
This meant Daaman had the final pick. He chose to play at Temple again. Both random again gave them the reversed matchup of the game before: Daaman as Protoss against Hellghosts Terran. Hellghost went a fast expand followed up by a vulture/tank push. Daaman couldn't hold and had to give up.

Hellghost: 2
Daaman sent to the losers bracket where he had to to face me in another best of 3. First map, as always, was Temple.
What a surprise; I went protoss. Daaman decided to go with zerg. He beat me Zerg vs Protoss in the first round of the winners bracket. I guess that gave him the confidence to pick Zerg this time (unlike our previous game in which he randomed). Unfortunately for him the outcome was the opposite of our previous encounter.

In the second game the choise of map was up to him. He went for Neo Vertigo. We both picked races again. Unlike at Temple he went for Terran this time. 11 Protoss against 5 Terran. I won this game as well, which meant advancing to the "Grand Final" against Hellghost.

A best of 5 in which HG gets/got a 1-0 head start. We played an amazing game at Temple which you definitely have to check out. I'll upload most of todays games in a minute or so. HG ran out of time after our first game and had to go. This means the final will be finished this thursday.
