My dad said it's been there a couple days and thought that I did it. I'm flipping mad. Freaking indecent person hits my parked car and does not even bother writing a note? This is a hit and run, no? What do I do? How do I find this son of a gae and get him back. I don't think you can do anything about it, because you have absolutely no trace as to who it might be. As Hot_Bid suggested, paying it forward is about your only option.

Your recollection abilities of things people have said on this forum are very impressive, by the way. My dad's pissed at me for not KNOWING about it right away. WTH I don't even drive on that side. I don't take the time to look all around my car every time I drive it. Suppose it's a blue Dodge Neon (or Chrysler, or any other company that puts its name on that exact car). There are far too many of them to pinpoint one in particular, and even if you took all the blue Neons in your area, you can't be certain that it's someone from your area. It could be any blue Neon from any state that happened to be travelling down your road at that time. There's pretty much nothing you can do except pay for the repairs yourself.

For minor incidents it's almost always better to suck it up and pay for it yourself. If he didn't even notice it for two days, it can't be that bad. It's better than paying higher insurance rates for the next X amount of years because you didn't want to spend an extra couple of hundred dollars. And if he's below 25 the extra amount of money he'll spend will add up to more than the amount he'll lose by just paying for it himself.

i always wanted to have a camera attached to my car so that when someone hit it, the camera would pop out of the roof of my car and take like 24 pictures while spinning 360 degrees to get the plates and face of the person who it me. and obviously pop back into the car.

(i have a large dent on left rear.) the next time you see someone backing out of a parking spot on the right side of your car, speed up so they will back right into you (in the same area as your dent) and then they will be at fault and have to pay for replacement of that whole piece of the body. I'd advise against doing this.

I'm pretty sure his premium doesnt go up if the accident wasnt his fault. such as if there is a police report and he got points on his license, which there is no reason for him to get. Hot_bid confirm/deny? I think it also varies state to state based of if they area fault/no-fault state.
