I 'think' this is the first map with such a concept. What do you guys think in terms of balance and funness?

playstyle will totally depend on where you start, im liking it a lot..tho i think 1oclock may be the weakest, but maybe that's cus I suck at Nostalgia  i cant wait to try it out, i hope someone can find some DL links for this soon! it's a lot more demanding of the player as you have to learn 4 different kinds of layouts, unless you already know all 4 maps which many do  On May 05 2007 23:24 useless wrote: edit: and if he is, he's shafted. teal and purp seems to have the more favorable positions. weird how first you said teal..then teal and purp..that was my same thought process! then i took a closer look and thought more about it..sin gaema is tough actually to defend that '2nd nat'..the ramps is pretty far up, you cant use sunk to protect both the nat and the 2nd nat, same w/ cannons. as for 11 oclock Purple location, his 2nd nat is sooooooooo far from the nat/main it's not that easy to defend, if you go straight to that 2nd nat and skip first natural then you miss out on gas, but if you expo to the first natural, any defense you build there obviously cant defend the 2nd nat.. i dont know it doesnt seem that strong to me. compare it with the 5 oclock expo, ride of valkyrie style, it's not nearly as hard to expo to the 2nd nat, and the distance is sooo short, good for defending both. the 1oclock nostalgia one im kind of newb at but it seems like those bridges are really hard to attack if not nearly impossible sometimes, and the ramp is so narrow also hard to attack, that makes it kind of strong i suppose Someone who understands Nostalgia and maps in general better please correct or explain your thoughts | ||

ZvT @ Teal is not possible. You'd have to play it like Gaema and go for 3 Hatch 20 Sunken LurkerLing. | ||
