"It's confirmed that Jangbi has not retired yet. After he fortified Code S, there was a rumor about his retirement, and since he didn't deny, he was known to have retired. However, to Fomos's question for the confirmation, Kespa responded that Jangbi actually hasn't followed the retirement process. Thus, he can come back to play if he wants."
"... he cannot play the first round of the proleague even if he comes back..."
"... Jangbi says "At least right now, I am only considering about fulfilling the military army", but he did not deny of all possibility of coming back to the scene."
Some rumors I heard from Korean community (some from Jangbi's afreeca stream) - Jangbi wasn't to retire, but just considering some rest, but some newspaper writers released his retirement.
- Samsung Khan cut off all transfer offer for him (including from some foreign teams) somehow.
- He neither lost confident nor interest for starcraft 2 when he reitred.
- He cannot move to another Kespa team because Samsung will not release him and some Kespa rules.
- Samsung took most of his prize moneys, and returned only a part of them, even though they promised to return them all.
- January and Samsung Khan preferred Stork over Jangbi, and his salary was lower compared to other top protoss players.
- Jangbi also kept practicing starcraft 2, even after his retirement, including helping other gamers' practice

he should just "retire" from kespa and join a foreign team

announcing a retirement actually means something? I always thought it was just to alert fans

When a kespa player retires, he loses his progamer license, and some procedure is needed to come back just as effort did.

:O Woah. That's harsh. I never thought January would be like that. I hope it's not true.

Wow didn't know that kespa players needed to redo a procedure if he wanted to go back to a kespa team. Is it the same for eSF teams or is this procedure only for kespa teams? I hope JangBi comes back to the scene, he was becomming really good before he stoped playing, and sa;sung really needs all the help they khan if they want to do well in proleague!

If Jangbi were to join a foreign team... god I would be happy. I would be SO HAPPY. One of my absolute favorites. Seeing him play around the world like Jaedong is right now, with how good Jangbi promised to be... maaaaaaan.

I highly doubt he will play SC2 because whenever people asked him to play it on stream he always made excuses like "i dont have it on this computer", "i dont think you can play it in windows mode".
He clearly just didnt like the game

Well, he couldn't have been training SC2 too much, seeing that he's been so active in the BW scene lately

the last 3 points are pretty fucked up tbh

This is very interesting and maybe it'll shut some of the people going ""We have proof, all BW stars actually hate SC2!" up. I wonder what'll happen in the end.
