Not really surprised if Jangbi still plays. He was one of, if not the most optimistic about SC2. Makes sense he would quit if Samsung was fucking him over that badly. If he could somehow get released by KeSPA I'm sure a ton of foreign teams would love to take him.

Yeah makes no sense at all
Possibly contract nego gone sour. Jangbi wanna go foreign team after he finds out stork gets a better salary than him, khan refuses to let him go. Only way out is retirement. Anyone remembers if Jangbi retired after Stork renews his contract or other way round?
The problem is even if you retire, if the team dont release you, you are still bound by the contract.

yes, you guys are so close I can feel it On a more serious note, I don't see him coming back if this situation with Samsung doesn't get rectified at least. I'm sure or rather, it's quite possible that he still plays SCII on the side seeing as he said he used to play it back when he used to play BW and enjoyed it so that part is not surprising. Having said that, if he's heavily streaming BW, enjoying it and bringing in a much better amount than he was in SCII, I'm sure that would be another factor on top of the first one to have stay with BW and the thriving scene there.
Having said that again lol, I am interested to see how good he gets at SCII. We know he was doing really well or best that a decent amount of protoss so I think if he comes back and gets picked up by a foreign team, he'll likely enjoy it and all the traveling and fans, a lot like Jaedong but ya, slim chance atm imo.

Not our fault everybody comes back to BW. Just swallow it.
