This map shares a lot with Newkirk Precinct, though it has lots of proportional differences. Pretty good for one of your first maps though, despite the iffy doodads I kinda like it.
I think it's extremely difficult to make ice maps pretty or attractive. It would be unfair to aesthetically compare an ice map with a forest map. Nevertheless, this map seems to do its job very well in that it offers consistency while leaving an epic feeling throughout some parts of the map (Hah, the Lich King display is pretty badass).

What kind of stuff could be done to improve it aesthetically?
I really like the ambientation of the map, it's a really good job, for the layout of the map i think it's very clean and swift, the one and only advice i feel i could give you is to remove the southmost xel'naga since i feel that by removing it you would end up with a more dinamic lategame on the map, other than that the map is good to go! ^^
In general I dislike it when you can blink from the third to the main but otherwise this map is quite decent. Nothing revolutionary but a nice mixture of elements we’ve seen before.

Isn't it like that for a lot of official ladder maps, like Cloud Kingdom, Akilon Wastes, Mire, BelShir (somewhat), etc? Just admit you hate stalkers!
