Some super crazy awesome games tomorrow (YAY TERRANS ON MAIN STAGE!! :D)
Also a TvT between MVP and Dream? BRING ME THE MECH ON MECH! :D
|
Stephano vs Grubby will be match of the day ! Maybe Hots will bring hope to Grubby.
Stephano has 23 wins - 1 losses (95.83%) vs Grubby Current Streak: 19 wins :D

Huh, no stream for MVP vs Stephano?
|
Such a good group, and I don't think I'm going to be able to stay up for it D;
Expecting: MVP, Dream, Grubby to advance
I have this feeling that MVP is actually going to superbeast this shit and only drop like 2 games. Very interested to see his HotS mech play, since he's pretty much the best mech player around....and I'm not even terran. Can always count on TLO as well for creative stuff

Fuck, this group is so godlike. Will definitely watch!

Why is there no MVP v Stephano in the schedule anywhere?

Good question. Get Stephano vs TLO the fuck out of there, lol.

Didn't watch the games so I'm wondering who (Xlord or Ret) would have taken a game off him if the 9-4 is correct. MC and Kas took 1 map each off Yoda, and First beat him 2-1, which means he lost 4 maps in total.

DreamTvT: 66.7%Head to Head Record: 0-0Dream is an amazing Korean Terran, and his game against jjakji in the GSTL Preseason match should give us a good indicator that he's pretty damn good at HotS TvT. However, HotS TvT is very reminiscent of WoL TvT in many ways. Indeed, Dream vs. jjakji was a sprawling Tank line war of attrition which lasted extremely long... and this style of play is Mvp's specialty. I think Mvp can pull out the win here, especially since Mvp usually overpowers his opponents in mirror matches.
GoldenZvT: -- Head to Head Record: 4-2 (66.7%)Even when Mvp's wrist problems were the talk of the town and Mvp was at his weakest point, he still managed to edge out Golden two times. Golden is not spectacularly good, and this is HotS TvZ. I think Mvp is favored here, especially with his 3-0 sweep of Curious. Also, Mvp has been using Mech in WoL TvZ, and Mech TvZ works very nicely against Zerg in HotS.
GrubbyPvT: 57.1%Head to Head Record: 2-0 (100.0%)This is an enemy that Mvp should safely beat. However, we have not seen any of Mvp's HotS TvP (except for that one showmatch against Rain), so it's hard to tell if he will be prepared. Best case scenario: Mvp adapts to HotS well and crushes Grubby. Worst case scenario: Void Rays.
StephanoZvT: -- Head to Head Record: 1-2 (33.3%)Right now, I think Stephano could probably beat Mvp in WoL. However, it's no secret that Stephano has been struggling a little with HotS. Also, HotS TvZ seems easier than WoL TvZ. Add in the fact that Mvp 3-0'd Curious, who is much superior to Stephano, and it seems pretty likely that Mvp will roll through Stephano, especially since Stephano has not looked impressive in a long time.
TLOZvT: 0.0%Head to Head Record: 0-0TLO might actually be someone for Mvp to fear, since TLO's creativity might lead him to some wonky build in HotS. If all goes well, Mvp should be able to overcome TLO. If TLO prepares well, there is a chance for an upset here. Overall PredictionsMvp 2-1 Dream Mvp 2-0 Golden Mvp 2-0 Grubby Mvp 2-0 Stephano Mvp 2-1 TLO Mvp advances from the group in first place with a score of 5-0 (10-2). He moves on to the Round of 8!(Yes, I know my predictions are heavily optimistic. C'mon, this is the Mvp Fan Club, what do you expect? )

I went over the scores at least 4 times too.

I want to see Dream and MVP just wreck the group then give us an epic TvT.
I wonder if we'll be as sick of the sound of scanning as we were with Dream vs Jjakji?
EDIT: And I hope Grubby has a good showing because Grubby.

This is so good. But yeah mvp vs stephano is missing lol

I'm sure they will play Stephano/Mvp, it doesn't make a lot of sense to not play it on the main stream.
