Something people forgot to say is the chance of a ZvZ finals is pretty darn low at least we can breathe easy.

Nerchio will not beat MVP. Stephano could beat Parting but beating YodA and MVP too? Man seems tough for the old boy.
Ret doesn't beat Yonghua

Only possible play for a Z in finals is Violet, if he beats Yonghwa hes good.

How come Nathanias' VODs buffer so slowly they are unwatchable, while the main stream VODs don't? Twitch.tv is so shit and they keep denying the issue is on their end despite thousands of customers complaining about this. They even delete the threads when they get long enough and start generating attention.

Wow, 14500 people on a rebroadcast. That has to be a record.

If you factor that into the already OK numbers from today, they easily have had 60-70 thousand viewers for this event today.

It shouldn't be that surprising, the tournament is on at unreasonable o'clock for those of us in NA, so this would be our first chance to catch up on it.

Hm I tried looking at the vods for stephano vs dream anyone have a link as maybe I am just being retarded? xD

According to sc2ratings, it was not streamed. That site has the Vods organized in a very nice way, a lot better than the mess that is esl.tv

yeah mid week tournament on during EU work hours and NA sleep hours, viewership won't be too big until the weekend.

Conspiracy theory time:

Is there any chance Stephano was pausing on purpose to distract Grubby? I find when a game gets paused it pulls me out of the game. Kind of strange that he gets sound errors that fix themselves immediately when pausing for 1 second.

I don't think Stephano is the guy who desparately needs some sort of edge against Grubby.
It could be the sound bug where your workers "won't stop talking" anymore after you selected them/one of them. An SCV repeating one sentence over and over is sure annoying... The constant noise of a selected drone isn't better either...

Maybe you are overdoing it a bit with the conspiracies.
But don't worry there are many to choose from in SC2:
1. Why do Nerchio/Mana or Vortix/Lucifron always get matched against each other?
2. Is the open mouth of Mvp absorbing the opponents skill?
3. What did the IM coach do to make an all LG-IM semifinal possible?
4. Why is viOlet shown with a US-flag in the grid?
5. What if Kalaeris really is Bormir/Sean Bean because he was tired of dying in all these movies?
etc...

It looks like the begining of Wol : Patch-zergs out of the picture, terran imba and zerg underpowered. Maybe the difference is that the gap between foreigners and korean wasn't that big.

And about the "perfect racial representation", it is good for the final bracket but it does not reflect balance since there was 70% more zergs than terran in the tournament.

The name value/skill of the zergs is far lower than that of the Terran's though. Terran would have gotten these 4 in the final bracket even in WoL.

What? In WoL? You must be joking!

No way hes joking. Sting won Singapore, Mvp won Gamescom, Dream got second at Katowice, and YoDa is a jedi master. They are good players.

Me to. I work in headphones and switch only when the casters indicate it's worth it. Nobody minds if I watch something for few minutes.

Fuck yeah Mvp.

5-0, dropping 2 maps, he is going to dominate this tournament!
