Won't be able to watch any of the matches on thursday, but will be able to catch them all on friday! mmmm, so excited to see these NA teams playing again.
That's cool. The weird nature of blue/purple side would make it really shitty if you didn't play same team at least twice(once on each side). Bo1s are insanely intense so that's cool.

Each team will play 28 games for each half of the season - 4 against every other LCS team. I'm sure Riot balanced out the blue/purple side stuff like home and away games. Home field advantage = blue + first pick.
Still cannot get over how bad the name Vulcun Command is. Like did anyone stop to think how stupidly corny it sounds? There is also a non-zero chance that the entire team/company is a sham based on their website and 'announcement.' I'm pretty sure if you gave 3 TL'ers 3 hours they could have done a better job, so I would expect more from a company that allegedly bought out FEAR
Anyway, main storyline on Thursday for me is TSM and what their current status is. They could have turned it around, but I suspect that they haven't, which gives me a sad.

The games/VODs from a few weeks ago, those were the qualifier.
This is the real LCS, where 8 teams from NA and EU are pro and salaried.

The games last weeks were the qualifiers. Those five teams that qualified joined the three teams that qualified through making it to the World Championsp. They are now part of the LCS and are getting payed a salary by Riot to compete in these weekly matches.
So nowadays the LOL world is divided into 5 regions? China(LPL), Korea(OGN), Southeast Asia(GPL), Europe and America? Personally, I think the level of NA LCS is similar to GPL without TPA. TSM CLG may win.

It's corny but I don't mind it. "Counter Logic Gaming" doesn't sound full of sense either, and most organisations with just "something gaming" or "team stuff" make them sound a bit bland in the end. Might Midgets, Taipei Assassins, Vulcun Command... all sound a bit corny, but there's more identity to them in some way. At least that's how I view it, from a spectator standpoint.
Won't be able to watch friday (gonna have sooo many VoDs along with all of EU LCS, damn, BW PL has nothing on this in terms of hours, good cheer to the writing team if they try and get a weekly (p)review for both on top of what they're doing already), but thursday seems to have the big match-ups already, with TSM, CLG, Curse and Dig playing each other so we get a good idea of how it's turning out for them.
