You advanced to the second round of Code A. Tell us how you feel.
I feel so good because I secured my spot for next season's Code A. The only bad thing that happened today was that my booth was too cold so my games didn't play out as well as I wanted them to.
How come your games didn't go so well?
The booth was so cold my hands froze up. So I wasn't able to properly play my games.
You used a proxy two rax build and grabbed game one easily. Was it a prepared strategy?
I've used that build before. But I wasn't able to execute it properly which is why I decided to try it again for today's match.
How did you prepare for today's match?
I practiced mainly through laddering. While I was studying TAiLS' VODs, I noticed that he was a very strategic player. So I was able to prepare freely.
How are you spending your resting season?
Unlike the rest of my teammates, I have GSL to play so I am using my break to have a lot of fun during practice. As for my teammates, I think they are practicing for pro league and for OSL.
Your next opponent will be either NesTea or Heart. Who would you like to face?
I'm fine with whoever. I've beaten Heart before and NesTea is called the "대마왕 Zerg" so I think the match will be a great experience.
If you advance to the third round of Code A, you will face Polt.
It won't be a TvZ so I think it'll be possible to beat him. I know this is a bit premature but if I can win my round two Code A match, I think I'll be able to make it to Code S.
Anything else you would like to say?
I am cold even right now so I was on the verge of playing the rest of my games while shaking. I think I was able to feel better because my coach was able to give me a special prescription medicine. I am really grateful to him. Lastly, I want to thank Bong for helping me with practice.

You took down 2012 GSL Season 3 Code S champion, Seed, by a score of 2-0 and advanced to your first ever Code A Ro32. How do you feel?
I still feel dazed. I think the hyungs back at the team house will have to start teasing me for me to start feeling the full effect.
You blocked Seed's DT play fairly easily in game one and then just ended it with a huge attack.
It was a very satisfying moment. I think I won way too easily than I should have.
For game two, you easily executed an all in and secured your victory. Was it a planned strategy?
I had that strategy all ready to execute at any moment because I kept it inside my head. I scouted him and saw that he really just didn't have any stalkers at his natural. I felt like it was going to work so I used it and lo and behold, it worked.
How did you prepare for today's match?
I didn't really prepare any specific builds. I didn't have a lot of practice partners so I was worried because I wasn't able to properly practice for this match. But I am confident in my TvPs so I just stuck to the basics.
How did you feel when you saw that your first opponent was going to be Seed?
I knew he was a GSL champion and all but rather than get scared I actually got excited. I felt like I was going to win because I was confident in my TvP. I was also excited about the fact that I would receive some kind of recognition since I would have taken down a GSL champion.
Your next opponent will either be ByuN or Sang. Who would you like to face?
Personally, ByuN is someone I consider a very good player. And since I am confident in my TvPs, I would like to face Sang.
Currently, you just took down GSL champion, Seed, so you're in good condition. What do you think about your chances of making it to Code S?
I said this last time after I got through the Code A qualifiers but I really don't think there are any players out there right now that can hinder me from grabbing Code S, As long as I don't get over confident and keep working hard, nothing will change.
Anything else you would like to say?
I want to thank Tear and Brown for helping me with practice even though I wasn't even good friends with them. I want to let them know that they can call me anytime they want if they ever need a practice partner. I hope Shine can win his match later on today. Even though it was a TvP and Symbol is a Zerg player, he still gave me a lot of advice. And I believe that his advice helped me.

You advanced to the second round of Code A. How do you feel?
I wasn't satisfied with my performance, and yet I was still able to advance like this so I am relieved. It was my first time performing at the MokDong GOMtv studio so I was worried a lot, and then the booth was really cold so playing through my match was difficult. I'm going to have to make sure I watch out external factors like this the next time I come to the studio.
You lost game one because of aLive's MMM composition.
I normally don't lose to a composition like that but the booth was so cold that my focus got scattered. Normally I don't ever fall victim to an attack like that.
For games two and three, aLive decided to proxy rax pressure you.
I was about to lose the first attack but I was able to pull it off in the end thanks to my probes. I was able to attack the second attack much easier because I had sentries.
For game three, your zealots played a very heavy role. Did you prepare that strategy?
It just kind of happened that way. I wasn't able to focus properly so I just spawned simple units. But then it ended up working really well (laughs).
Your first ever match at MokDong studio.
Overall, it was just really cold (laughs). But since they gave me Hot6iX so aside from the coldness everything else was fine.
How did you feel when you saw that you would be facing aLive?
Terrans are all the same so I figured I would be able to handle him. For today's match, I did a lot of thinking with my teammates and then I searched for VODs. But then aLive did an unexpected proxy double rax.
Your next opponent will be Mvp. How do you think the match will go?
According to people around me, Mvp from group stages and Mvp from bo x matches are completely different Mvps. So it'll be crucial that I prepare extensively.
Your chances of making it to Code S?
I think I am fully capable of making it. I'm just disappointed that sHy is also in my bracket so only one of can make it. I truly hope the loser can still make it to Code S through the Up/Downs.
Anything else you would like to say?
I want to thank every Terran member who helped me prepare for today's match. I'm going to have to use today's match experience to prepare for my second round match.

You advanced to the second round of Code A. Tell us how you feel.
I was worried about today's match since I would have to face the qualifiers again if I lost but the games went just like how I prepared them so I feel good.
You discovered Mini's secret double gate build so you were able to win without much difficulty.
I didn't have a lot of VODs of Mini's to study from so I asked my teammates for any advice and they were able to inform me that Mini likes to proxy gate rush a lot. So I decided I would scout very thoroughly for each and every game.
You were pressured quite heavily early on in game two by Mini's stalkers but you were able to turn it around and grab a 2-0 victory.
I was really prepared for that build order since I practice against it on a regular basis. I normally defend against it well in practice but I got nervous today so I ended up making a lot of mitstakes and threw away my phoenixes so I messed up a lot.
You will face either Squirtle or Miya in the second round.
I've never played against Squirtle before and I've beaten Miya before. He may be a Zerg and all but I have prior experience in defeating miya so I kind of would like it if Miya would advance.
Teammate Seed was eliminated in the previous match.
These days Seed hyung's results have not been the best. However, I think this is a good opportunity for him to regain his composure and work really hard like he once did in the past (laughs).
You secured your spot for next season's Code A. How far do you think you'll make it?
Securing my spot for the Up/Downs was my first and foremost goal and I achieved it. However, my group has really powerful players like Squirtle and Life so I have no idea how far I'm going to make it.
PartinG won the WCS championship yesterday. Does it motivate you?
PartinG stated in his interview that he does well in tournaments that have the letter "W" in it. However, I'll be at WCG so that's not going to happen.
What are your future plans?
I will be attending WCG in a bit. Since this is the most important tournament that's upcoming for me, I want to make sure I finish it with a bang.
Anything else you would like to say?
I want to thank LucyPRIME, FXOKimJiHwang, Tear, and NSHTassadar for helping me with practice. I was able to win because First was able to teach me a lot of things about Mini. I want to thank the coach for helping me maintain my mentality and the coach's wife for buying me kimbap since I had forgotten to eat lunch. Lastly, I want to thank my sponsors LG Electronics, Steelseries, Googims Company, Nvidia, and Coca-Cola.

Tell us how you feel about advancing to the second round of Code A.
I haven't been doing well in my TvZs on ladder so I wasn't feeling confident going in to this match, but then I was able to win the match so I think I can use this victory today to revive my confidence that was feeling really down. Genius hyung stated that he would have liked to face Dark but since I made it up I hope we can still have some fun games.
Don't you have a good win ratio vs Zerg?
Aside from Life, I haven't lost to a Zerg in a bo x match series. But I still ended up losing confidence in myself because of my abysmal ladder record.
You lost a ton of marines and siege tanks in the early game because of Dark's zergling/baneling composition, but you still managed to turn it around and grab the victory.
I got flustered during that game because my micro was totally off and I ended up losing that battle. I think it was because my hands just weren't warmed up yet.
In game two, you were able to use the dream team composition of battlecruisers, ravens, ghosts, and vikings to grab the victory.
Before the game even began, I figured the game would be a long macro game so I was already planning on taking this to the late game. Originally, I expected both games to be long macro games.
After spending so many seasons in Code S, this Code A Ro48 match must be a new experience for you.
I'm approaching my current situation with the feeling that this is kind of a fresh start for me.
As you stated yourself, your opponent will be Genius. Are you confident?
I think it's going to be fun. I think I will definitely be the victor. I've met him several times in tournaments but I've always won (laughs).
What future overseas tournaments are in store for you?
I will be leaving soon to attend DreamHack Winter. And then, instead of returning to Korea, I will be heading towards America for IPL 5.
You stated that you're confident for round two but you need to defeat a Zerg in the third round in order to grab your Code S spot.
People are all saying that Curious is a really good player. I can't say for sure that I'll make it to Code S right this minute but I can say that I have a really good feeling so I'm going to win (laughs).
Anything else you would like to say?
My personal coach advised me to use ghosts for today's match. It was very effective. I want to thank him for that. I want to thank my aunt, my brother, my parents, and my fans for always cheering me on. Lastly, I want to thank our sponsors TLAF, RAZER, and Twitch.tv.

You advanced to the second round. Tell us how you feel.
I am so glad because I don't have to go through the preliminaries. My teammates told me that if I fall to the preliminaries, I could potentially get labeled SAB so I prepared even harder (laughs).
In game two, you chrono boosted your forge and then surprised Miya with your warp gates to grab an easy victory.
Orginally I was planning on attacking after my +1 finished and I wasn't trying to trick him or anything but it ended up working out well that way (laughs).
Your results have not been the best as of late. Why do you think this is so?
There really isn't any other reason besides the fact that I just didn't prepare enough. But as of late, I've been talking with the coach a lot and also my teammates have started teasing me so I've been working really hard.
You were active in Code S and then just fell to the Ro48 of Code A all of a sudden.
If I perform poorly, I fear that the netizens will critique the crap out of me so I can't even check the websites. So I prepared as much as I possibly could cause I knew it would just be over for me if I fell out of Code A.
Fellow teammate PartinG won the BWC.
I teased Seed hyung and Curious hyung at the WCS Asia finals that PartinG was going to be the world champion but then it actually ended up happening. Right now PartinG is back at the team house but I am scared about how much bragging he's going to do. But I'm still glad because PartinG was able to grab the championship.
This season's goals?
If I make it to the third round of Code A, I have to face Life. I was planning on just advancing to Code S but since Life is the player standing in my way, I can't help but feel like I will have to go up through the Up/Downs.
Anything else you would like to say?
I want to thank SoN, Zero, HyuN, and Shine for helping me with practice. I also believe that PartinG will be treating us to a delicious meal with his prize winnings. Lastly, I want to thank our sponsors Red Bull, ZOWIE, and Joy Gear.

Tell us how you feel about taking down JangBi and advancing to the second round of Code A.
I am really embarrassed right now since my performance has been poor lately. I think this is because I just haven't been practicing much these days.
You lost game one to a classic seven gate build by JangBi.
The biggest issue was the amount of practicing I did but I also messed up in the fact that I disregarded classic builds as I prepared for this match. I let me guard down cause I thought he was going for phoenixes so I ended up losing game one.
In game two, JangBi messed up his defense and you saw an opening and took the victory.
JangBi's build order was the perfect counter to my build order. My performance was really poor but I got lucky and I was able to take the win.
Your opponent was two time OSL champion JangBi. How did you prepare for today's match?
I had a lot of personal things to deal with so I didn't have a lot of time to practice. The reason I was able to win and advance was purely through luck. I did nothing right today.
You will face sHy in the second round. Are you confident?
After today's match was over, I decided that I really just had to do my best from here on out. I am going to prepare extensively for my match against sHy and make sure I give the crowd what they came for.
This season's goals?
Last season, I was just one victory away from getting in to Code S. This time, I absolutely want to make it to Code S. I have Mvp in my bracket but I am confident in my ZvT so I think it will be possible.
Anything else you would like to say?
I will make sure I show good performances to the audience from here on out. I want to thank Cyrano, Squirtle, and Genius for helping me with practice. Lastly, I want to thank our sponsor Sky Digital, the coach, and Kim Ka Ram hyung for coming with me to the studio.

You advanced to the second round of Code A. Tell us how you feel.
I am so glad right now because I can relax knowing that I've secured my spot for the Up/Downs. I also feel good because my prepares strategies were executed well.
In game one, you fought till the end and won with brood lords. When you were retreating with your army, did you intentionally leave your brood lords behind?
It was half a mistake and half intentional. As I was retreating, I felt like Heart would scan my army and then attack so that's why I moved my army like that.
In game one, you used an overlord and a queen to plant a creep tumor at Heart's third expansion area. That was very fascinating to watch.
I was originally planning on using that strategy. It's a really good strategy when executed properly, but I got nervous and ended up botching it.
Recently, your ZvT results have not been the best so how did you prepare for your match?
Even still to this day, ZvT is difficult for me. I want to play ZvPs and yet I keep getting Terran opponents. I studied Heart's VODs and I saw that he is a very solid player. I felt like he would go for a proxy rax build at least twice s our of our three games.
You will be facing yet another Terran for the second round.
I won't the results until the match is actually played. I am just hoping the maps will be good. As long as I have plenty of time to prepare, I am sure it will be a good match.
Your goals for this season?
My first and foremost goal is to return to Code S. I want to go back to the place where I originally was at.
You fell to Code A. How did that feel to you?
I was able to rest up so I think it was fine (laughs). I've been so busy these past two years but I was able to use this time to reflect on my past performances. When I was watching my VODs of when I won the championship, I saw that I was really on fire for SCII. But compared to back then, it feels like that heat has somewhat died off. I really needed this break.
If you had to evaluate today's match?
I don't think I was able to perform even half of what I had prepared. I wasn't able to focus well so personally, I think this match was pretty meh, since Heart shook me up quite a lot.
Teammate Seed was eliminated. Any advice for him?
I think he's lost his passion a bit since he won the championship. He still practices hard and all but I think his interest in the game has kind of died off. Our team likes to tell each other after we've won a championship that the real work actually starts from here on out (laughs). I know he can make it back up here anytime he wants so I hope he remains strong and grabs a lot of good results again.
Anything else you would like to say?
I want to thank the coach and Jae Su (judging from the context of this sentence, I think Jae Su could be the coach's wife's name) for always taking care of us. I want to thank Mvp, dreamertt, and YoDa for helping me with practice. Lastly, I want to thank our sponsors, LG Electronics, Steelseries, Nvidia, Googims Company, and Coca-Cola.
