The Zerg user was clearly significantly better, though. Not only did he never float on money (the protoss user did a little bit here and there) but more importantly, he was better strategically.

I think the Protoss could actually have won if he hadn't done some strategic mistakes. He attacked in to lurkers a lot while there were undefended expansions he could have gone for. And he forgot to make scarabs at 12, which made that base practically undefended vs zerglings and swarm. If he had better map awareness, he would have attacked the undefended expansions instead of rushing in to lurkers over and over. He also could have had scarabs at 12.

If he hadn't lost 12, and hadn't attacked at the wrong spots, I think he would have won.
