The NoisE Amateur StarLeague Season 2 qualifiers have begun!

REVISED FORMAT!
The qualifiers will take place over the course of four days. Divisions A,B, and C will play 5 games on September 1st @ 19 CET and the remaining 5 games on September 2nd @ 17 CET. Likewise, groups D, E, and F will play 5 games on September 8th @ 19 CET and their remaining 5 games on September 9th @ 17 CET. Each player will be required to make an account on Fish server with the title ASL2 in front of it (e.g. ASL2.Shimy, ASL2)Eywa(, ASL2-NoisE, ASL2[Quirinus], etc) and meet in op ASL2 on the Fish server.
How the Qualifiers will work:
There are 56 players with 2 invites. The 56 players will duke it out in the Up and Down format to get the top 24 spots and move on to the group stage. To begin with, each player will will be divided into a group of 9 (or 10) and will play the other person in their tier. Example:
Tier 1: (1)Red vs (2)Blue
Tier 2: (3)Yellow vs (4)Brown
Tier 3: (5)Purple vs (6)Pink
Tier 4: (7)Grey vs (8)Black
Teir 5: (9)Orange vs (10)Green
The player that wins their game moves up a tier and the player that loses moves down a tier. In this case, if red wins, he remains where he is at. Likewise, if Green loses, he also stays where he is at. This is repeated over 10 rounds(10 separate games per player) over the course of two days(5 games per day). The top 4 players from each division will move on to the group stage. If there are 9 people in a group, the bottom tier players sits Round 1 and then moves up when T4 loser moves down. The divisions were determined randomly and seeded randomly.
Each division will play FIVE rounds per play date.

Each round will have a set map. The round is as follows:

These maps will be used throughout the entirety of the tournament. Please download this map pack. If players host and play on incorrect versions of these maps, they will be disqualified.
Some players race pick certain match ups. The race by their name is the race they will be playing against that opponent in Round 1. After this, it is possible their races will change due to the race of their next opponent. If there is a disagreement, the referee will have the race of each player and verify what he/she has signed up with and has to use.

Tournament Rules

1)All players are subject to administrative discretion.
2)All players are to sign up via email. No other source.
3)Bad manner directed towards fellow participants and/or ASL staff will result in a ban.
4)All games will be played on the Fish server in op ASL2.
5)All players must use minilauncer or chaoslauncher.
6)All replays of this stage must be sent to NoisEASL2@gmail.com. Failure to do this will mean DQ.
7)Players are required to make an ASL2 account in order to play their games e.g. ASL2.Shimy, ASL2-Shimy, ASL2)Shimy, etc
8) No Korean IP's will be allowed.
9) Players are required to send their IP address to league officials upon request.
10) Players are required to send replays of their games to league officials upon request.
11) If a player is experiencing an unplayable quantity of lag, they must leave the game before the two minute mark. Beyond this point, the player will be forced to play out the set.
12) Lag and IP conflicts will be handled on a case to case basis at the official's discretion.
13) If a player cannot play his match due to personal time issues, that player needs to contact ASL staff 72 hours beforehand and then their opponent 48 before their match to either PP the match or play early. Upon proof via screenshot of contact back and forth between player and opponent, the referee handling the case will then assign a date and time to be played, earlier or later than set time, at a time of mutual availability.
14) If a player does not show up within 15 minutes of the set game time, their opponent is given a W.O. victory. Technical issues do not apply and are done case by case by ASL officials.
15) If incorrect versions of the maps are used, the player will be DQ'd.
