[...]in the era of movie-like shooters almost "on rails," with player-environment interaction as limited as possible, we wanted to create a game for old-school PC players, raised on all those forgotten Dooms, Quakes, and Painkillers.

A few days ago a new polish company called Flying Wild Hog announced a new game, called Hard Reset. Amongst the crew there are members formerly from Bulletstorm, Sniper and The Witcher 2 staff.
The game is a Cyberpunk FPS which looks more like the old fpses, with hitpoints and colors.
Story:
The game's plot revolves around a guy by the name of Major Fletcher, an eyeball-augmented soldier living in the bastion of Bezoar when humanity's on its last leg. Between the robotic genocide of his species and several other standard dystopian/cyberpunk aggravations, life's about as enjoyable as it is for Prometheus having his liver eaten by an eagle every morning.

So, what do you guys think? I honestly think that this has a serious chance of being awesome, the fps community has been long asking for an FPS with the old style hitpoints and the addition of colors. Plus I'm a big fan of weird weapons.
The game will run in a new engine, called Road Hog made by the Flying Wild Hog themselves.
