Hello fellow Liquidians, lately there has been a plethora of threads popping up on TeamLiquid offering free sc2 coaching. It got to a point that a dedicated thread was started to help keep the forums clean, I am here today to announce a new project that takes things a few steps further. The site aims to be a one stop shop for free coaching and finding help to improve your game.

TheSC2School.com we have gathered some great coaches and you could be taking a lesson from one with just a few clicks!
Sites like teamliquid.net, screddit et al are a great resouce for learning, but they are also swamped with posts on a whole host of things that can crowd out the real gems of knowledge. If you are new to the game it can be very hard to know which PvZ strat you read about in the strategy forum is actually the best for a certain situation.
Our site is for the people who want to get better, but don't want to do it alone. Those who can not afford to pay for professional coaching shouldn't have to “make do” with reading strategy forums and watching videos, while those resources are wonderful, its always better to have someone there to talk things out with and to point out, in real time, mistakes you are making or ways you could be more efficient.
We welcome anyone who wishes to learn, especially those who wish to share what they learn with others. Our mission is simple, to add to the wealth of resources available to SC2 players, to help those in need and to become better gamers ourselves by helping you become better gamers.
In the near future we hope to provide a Practice Partner database, I have many ideas for future events such as funky fun tourneys and show matches, but my aim for the site is for it to be community lead. If you guys have ideas you would like to see implemented then please let us know!

Actually, we have an online system could be used to set up to do that efficiently. It is not designed to do free coaching, but i guess it will work.
Basically the idea is to have an expert offer lessons, once the expert sign up, he or she will have a very short link which could be used to all the clients to book sessions. (e.g: http://ex.gs/4mVG5B) Anyone could book a session and the expert need to approve it. After that they could exchange information about the service. In our case, it will be the id in SC2.
The service is not necessarily free, you could set price for your service and we will handle the money, send the profit to you whenever you want, but I suppose many of the players here would be happy to offer free service. If you would like to try, just go to http://expert.io
Hopefully, this would make the free coaching easier.

I'm a ~2900 Master Zerg, I know that's not what you're looking for and I am often busy with family life anyway, but I'd be happy to contribute whenever and wherever I can help.

I'll take a look at that, for now I'm happy just having the site and building a booking system in php in my spare time (or even better if an expert could do it for me lol).

This is true... I have a wife and 2 kids that often pull me away from the game. Hell, I'm afk right now because I left myself logged in but had to go to work.
We can meet up some time and go over a few things np, it's just hard to do things in game unless I plan them out ahead of time.
