Introduction
+ Show Spoiler +
I would like to take the pleasure to introduce all you fine folks to the Tea Party! Tea Party is a Starcraft 2 podcast between friends who are brought together through the love, appreciation and enjoyment of SC2 (original, I know). The show can be described as a relaxed commentary between learned gentlemen about a motley amalgam of things obvious and intricate. Basically, Tea Party can be likened to a variety show with a quaint SEA perspective. The show seeks to offer food for thought whilst entertaining SC2 players at large.
Hosts
+ Show Spoiler +
Henry - Breaker
The main host. He has an open mind and is always looking to improve. For what it's worth, he was once ranked top 200 on the SEA server not long after release. Unfortunately, he has grown complacent and does not ladder as much as he should. He also participated in the beta. Henry recently upgraded his headset in order to provide a deeper, smoother, studio quality voice for the audience's listening pleasure. Henry plays Protoss and despises Terran.
Dennis - WakingLife
The contender. The man with the experience; from humble beginnings in Bronze to current day Masters. Laddering more than any of the other hosts, Dennis has a vast pool of knowledge and experience to draw upon. He has witnessed and born the brunt of a variety of play-styles, skill levels, cheese and BS that SEA has thrown at him on his journey to Masters. Dennis is here to share what wisdom he has gathered in the hopes of helping everyone progress their own game. Dennis has dabbled in random for a while but mains as Zerg and occasionally weeps Swarm tears.
Matt - Sudoxe
The anti-hero. Matt is the average Joe who keeps the show honest, real and in your face. You won't find him waffling or beating around the bush. In addition to being straight up, Matt is also quite the joker. He enjoys candlelit dinners, strolls along the beach and trolling. Matt plays Protoss and is slowly, but surely, climbing his way up the treacherous SEA ladder.
Jack - Elanshin
The news guy. Jack probably watches more SC2 streams, videos and replays than is considered healthy. He lurks on TL.net more than any of the other hosts and is the man to go to for any SC2 news, announcements, competition results, drama etc. He also participated in the beta and enjoys roflstomping n00bs. Jack plays Terran and looks down on all the other races. He also looks like TSL_Rain.
In addition, we're all avid followers of the GSL/GSTL and we try to compete in as many local SEA based tournaments as possible such as; Dogsi's, IEM SEA Qualifiers, local LAN events ( e.g. Cityhunter etc). We look to be more active in the SC2 community and e-sports scene at large in the near future and appreciate any and all support.
Background
+ Show Spoiler +
The spark and inspiration behind this show originated from Day9's union address in daily #232 . From this spark, I decided to actively contribute something to the SC2 community in one way or another after watching DJ Wheat's Weapon of Choice Ep20.
The idea for a podcast came to mind after I realised I had some pretty good SC2 discussions over Skype with my friends. We jokingly referred to these discussions as 'tea parties' because sometimes we spent more time talking about the game rather than actually playing it. From there ... BAM! this podcast was born.
I personally listen to State of the Game, amongst other podcasts, and I really want to make Tea Party something of its own. As such, I strive to minimise any overlap with other shows by having different content as well as offering different perspectives with a unique feel and delivery. Some things that separates us from other more established shows is that:
- We are from Australia and play on the SEA server (yeah!)
- We are not hardcore pro-gamers (yet!)
- We are not idiots! (I promise ..)
- We are friendly (<3)
As if you're not sold, right?

RSS Feed (We're still trying to get it up on itunes and youtube - please bare with us!)
I thank those in advance for taking the time to listen to this podcast. The audio quality has improved dramatically since episode one. Unfortunately, episodes will come out less regularly than originally intended. We'll try to put something out each week depending on SC2 news and content. Please send us questions or topics that you would like to be discussed on the podcast either in this thread or via PM.
Any and all constructive feedback is welcome and appreciated. I will continue to update this original post with any new information or announcements so check back regularly!
Thanks again and enjoy

Peace.
