You are not looking at a Magikarp anymore. You’re looking at a Gyarados here. HiyA: “Is Anytime a spy for Air Force ACE?”![[image loading]](http://imgur.com/ZvtCD.jpg) Hwaseung’s HiyA has achived an all-kill against Air Force ACE. He previously made an all-kill against STX in January 31st 2009, and exactly two years later, has successfully scored another all-kill. [T/N: Holy crap, what a coincidence O__O] The all-kill for HiyA was not easy to pull off. It was not because of because of easy opponents, but because of a certain veteran member on his team. The members of Air Force ACE played contrary to Anytime’s predictions, and HiyA, like a frog, didn’t listen to Anytime at all and played exactly opposite of what Anytime had said to do, leading to an all-kill. [T/N: The “like a frog” reference is what frogs are described as in Asian culture- rebellious. I know that this is true in Korean and Japanese culture, and I’m pretty sure that frogs are regarded as rebels in Chinese culture too.]
Q: This is the first all-kill of the season for Hwaseung. A: I’m happy that I was able to pull off a victory for our team for our last match before Lunar New Year’s holidays starts. Thanks to today’s win, it seems that everyone on my team can spend the holidays with ease.
Q: Did you expect that you would pull off an all-kill? A: I thought that I would only beat M18M since I had practiced a lot on the map “Circuit Breaker”. But since my builds seemed to work well today and luck was on my side, I was able to pull off an all-kill.
Q: You raped firebathero in the 3rd set. [T/N: The word rape in Korean is “gang gan”, but since of course an interviewer can’t say “lololol RAPED” and lose their job, they had to use the term “gwan gang”, which means “to take a trip”. This is Korean slang for ownage in Starcraft, so HiyA took poor firebathero on a little “trip”. That interviewer should’ve said “gang gan” anyway; entertainment over reputation!] A: Since I made a lot of mistakes in the beginning, I told myself to play safely and so I played in a relaxed way. But to the fans, that game must’ve looked really boring. [T/N: Yeah, one-sided rapes, not fun to watch, really... :/] The camera didn’t catch this on screen, but I made a lot of mistakes where instead of using scans, I accidentally lifted off my Command Center at my natural expansion (laughs).
Q: You did a proxy 7rax bunker rush against ggaemo. It was quite extraordinary. A: Since ggaemo used to be on the same team as us, I know his play style well. Since I know that he usually likes to expand to his natural expansion quickly, I saw right through him and decided to use that strategy. I originally thought of using a 7rax strategy against ggaemo, but Jaedong told me that I had to say that I won because he recommended that strategy to me. So he made a little request to have a brief mention here (laughs). - Jaedong passing by: It’s true, I recommended that strategy to him. Since I bestowed my belief in him, isn’t it right to say that I did a huge service for HiyA (laughs)? [Jaedong and HiyA, BM couple forever. <3]
Q: Do you think that the “Magikarp’s League” atmosphere from the 08-09 season will be revived? [T/N: “Magikarp/Carp” in Korean is “ing-uh”. There’s a wordplay with the word carp and Winners’ League; if you combine the two together, you get “Ing-uh’s League”. Get it? It’s pretty funny, actually. XD Korean looks so ugly romanized…] A: If I won the 1st set, then I could relax and play the other sets as if I were just practicing casually, so I practiced a lot for my first match. I also got really lucky today. Although it hasn’t been 100% resurrected yet, it seems that it will revive little by little. [T/N: Yeeeah, boy! Make another “Magikarp’s League” happen! HiyAOZ!]
Q: Since you’ve been fielded out, Jaedong has been getting fewer chances to rack up wins. A: I just think that Jaedong has less power and is lacking compared to Hydra, so he’s getting pushed around. I don’t think that it’s because of me being fielded out (laughs). I’m just joking around; since Jaedong is also happy when I win, it’s okay with him that he’s not getting a lot of wins lately. [T/N: Jaedong fans, don’t take HiyA's words seriously. HiyA clearly says that he was just joking around, and Jaedong loves not carrying his team all the time and hates being JaedongOZ. But hellz yeah, my boy Hydra is on fire recently! |D]
Q: What is your goal for this season? A: My goal is still to get over 5 wins. If I achieve that, then it seems that I can be able to get 30 wins like last year. Rather than being unable to attain an unreachable goal, after I go towards my goal a little at a time and achieve it, I’ll make another new goal to aim at.
Q: How will you spend the Lunar New Year’s holidays? A: I don’t really have any special plans or anything. I plan to spend my time with my family and meet my friends. [T/N: And also plan out new ceremonies… Kukukuu~]
Q: Any last words you want to say? A: If the brackets for the 1st set come out before the match starts, I go over builds with my teammates backstage. But for the 2nd game today, Anytime hyung told me that M18M would probably go for a Dark Templar drop on me so I played safely, but M18M played exactly the opposite way Anytime hyung had predicted. In the 3rd set, Anytime hyung told me that Iris would definitely would not go for 2port Wraiths, but since I built some Starports myself in my natural expansion to fend Iris’s wraiths off, I pulled off a win. In the 4th set, Anytime hyung told me to go for no Barracks double Command Centers, but if I had done that, then the game would’ve ended in 5 minutes. Anytime seems like a spy for Air Force ACE (laughs). [T/N: …that’s freaky, man. Anytime harboring feelings for ACE and trying to let them have a win?]
Also, PerfectMan always teases me back at the practice house and says, “Hyung, how many wins do you have in Proleague again?”, but since I did an all-kill today, I don’t think that he can tease me anymore. [T/N: OHHHHH, BURRRN.] PerfectMan had quite a pissed off expression on his face after I came out from the last set with an all-kill (laughs). It would be great if PerfectMan would work hard and get 10 wins or more in the future. I wish for all of my fans to spend their holidays enjoyably and to have a happy Lunar New Year’s.
If there's any grammar mistakes/typos/errors, then please do point them out! This interview had quite a few cultural references in it, so I hope that everyone learned an interesting thing or two! ;D

Congrats to HiyA for pulling off an all-kill, and one can certainly sympathize with Anytime at this moment for ACE...
![[image loading]](http://imgur.com/ltx2g.jpg) HiyA, looking forward to make Ing-uh's League and HiyAOZ happen again. What a baller. And bonus pics as always! + Show Spoiler +![[image loading]](http://imgur.com/Ykc86.jpg) "What did you just say, BackHo? That you're the motherfucking Messiah? No my boy, you can't say that while the Sashin Toss is still around." ![[image loading]](http://imgur.com/qOaAf.jpg) Anytime: "Are you Superman?" ggaemo: "What? Oh, this? How'd that get there..." ;; ![[image loading]](http://imgur.com/ihuts.jpg) Firebathero: "Holy crap, we're actually getting killed by MAGIKARP, of all people?!??" RuBy: "...-____-;" ![[image loading]](http://imgur.com/h0BBh.jpg) Jaedong: "HOLY SHIT!!! Ahahahah HiyA's actually doing something useful for once!!" PerfectMan: *Getting more pissed off by the second* ![[image loading]](http://imgur.com/58lbW.jpg) Jaedong: "Lolololol Magikarp" ![[image loading]](http://imgur.com/FrAwr.jpg) HiyA: "...do I see Jaedong loling at me over there? Shit, I'm gonna have to make an all-kill now to shut his trap." ![[image loading]](http://imgur.com/ms3k5.jpg) *Later after pulling off an all-kill* HiyA: "SERVED, bitches!!" PerfectMan in background: "Shit, there goes my Liquibet!!!" ![[image loading]](http://imgur.com/LgEGs.jpg) Jaedong, being BM to HiyA as usual and not giving a single shit about his interview. He goes for the choco pies instead. The BIG choco pies rather, as it says above on the box. Big dongs need big pies. ![[image loading]](http://imgur.com/OOqSr.jpg) Hwaseung knows what's up now. HiyAOZ gonna tear through Winners' League. And Anytime not giving a thumbs-up in the background and probably flipping him off with his middle finger behind HiyA's head for all-killing ACE. Look at that vengeful expression of his. ![[image loading]](http://imgur.com/VqkGG.jpg) Awww, look at that. Hwaseung wants to express their love to you. <3 *In reality* Cameraman: "PerfectMan, smile more!! Why do you look so angry?!?" PerfectMan: *Strained, strained smile* ![[image loading]](http://imgur.com/Xp7au.jpg) Lolz, Sashin Toss. Look at Killer, snuggling up to Jaedong and trying to gain some of his powers. And Lomo, getting up close and personal with that pissed off PerfectMan. Real team love man, real team love.

Thanks so much for the translate! Hiya is so cool, Gyarados ftw. Hiya just plays casually, does what he wants, and pwns. These pictures are so funny. Oz is great, I love all the "drama" between the teammates hahaha.

Er, what?
It just means "entertained", it has nothing to do with rape, or at least, i hope so. Just because it sounds similar doesn't mean they're related -- it just means "you've made a show out of firebathero" when they say that ~_~

aaah one of the best interviews lately so much trashtalk HiyA :DDDD
|
lol does hiya's sign in his booth say "jaedong oz" on it?
nice pics!

Thanks for the translation!
HiyA is one of the funniest people in the progaming scene. ^_^
WTH @ Anytime's predictions, and lol at Jaedong bragging. Didn't he say he suggested the strats for Lomo as well in the match against Stars?
Things are looking up for Oz now, with HiyA getting back into shape, JD being JD, and the rest of Oz picking up the slack. The mood @ Oz seems to be improving also. Come on Oz, let's go for the playoffs!

Well, I guess it could mean "entertained" with "선보였다", but let's leave the more humorous translation there, shall we? ;P

they refer to like BM things as 관광 or "show" or things similar -- it's "entertainment". things like nukes and scouts and stuff like that. so no it doesn't mean ownage at all

Hilarious bonus stuff lol, awesome content

Great thread, it's evident that you put a ton of effort into it!
Translations were entertaining (and yes what Milkis said, 관광 is "tour" or "show" so 밀봉 관광 is just "containment show" in literal sense), and the pictures were awesome! LOL @ Perfectman's liquibet lololol

Hiya so baller. Time to get more wins than Jaedong PP The ultimate secret agent, hiya (from that one ceremony)...won't be taken down by spies like anytime.
