First of all, a big thanks to kellyMILKIES for setting this up, and for LiquidRet for being so awesome to play in this =)
I picked the All Star SEA team, selected from whom in my opinion are the 4 Best players in SEA at the moment. There is a 5th spot up for grabs in the team and that spot will go the winner of Community Open #7 (12th January) . Update: tGcBosser took down the 128 man tourney.
How will the best of SEA do against Starcraft Legend and Starcraft 2 Top 32 GSL 3 LiquidRet?!
Time: Sunday, 23rd January 2011, 12NOON SGT, 1PM KST Live casting: kellyMILKIES & Unstable. http://www.justin.tv/kellymilkies
SEA All-Star Team: 1) mOOnGLaDe (SEA's greatest hope) 2) Kowi (Topped the NA top 200 list 2 weeks ago) 3) YoonYJ (Topped the SEA top 200 list for basically 2 months) 4) OxygeN (Won the recent SSL (Biggest Singapore lan compy last week) ) 5) tGcBosser (winner of co#7)
Reserve (if anyone SEA doesnt show) 1) JesseTheKing (winner of co#8)
-All games will be Bo3s. So 5 sets of Bo3s. -Games will be on SEA unless Ret lags, then it will be on KR.
+ Show Spoiler [FAQ] +Why is sc2sea's logo a horse as well?It isn't a horse. Since we are the SEA server, and TL uses a horse, someone thought it would be a good idea to have a SEAhorse as our logo, which is a cool way to pay tribute to TL the best sc2 site in the world - the place where most of us started and still visit. If im from NA can i sign up for the CO qualification tourney?Nope, its only open to players who have an SEA account, as the tournament will be held on SEA. How many games will be played?LiquidRet will play a best of 3 with each of the 5 players. At the end the score will be tabluated in sets won. So for e.g SEA All-Stars 3 : LiquidRet 2 !! What time will it be in my country?Find the exact time in your country hereCommon SEA times - Sunday Singapore/Malaysia: 12 noon Korea: 1pm Sydney: 3pm NZ: 5pm. For America it will be a day earlier Saturday anywhere from 7pm to 11pm. Will there be replays released?Yes, we will have all replays released, only unless a specific player requests not to release his set of games. (Unlikely)

SEA server home advantage should count for a bit, too - especially for the Singapore players as their latency will be much lower than everyone else.

Hopefully we get some interesting play, and not games that end under 10 minutes. coughoxygencough
Reps will be released from what's been said, to the person above me.

Yeap there will. I might ask Kowi for a replay pack of his ladder games as well, he seems so popular!

Sounds great guys, love the activeness in the Aussie and SEA SC2 scene at the moment, keep up the great work!

HuK and I tested KR <-> SEA a few weeks back and he said the latency is great so hopefully you guys don't have any problems.

Isn't Kowi the cheeser that proxys a lot?

And HuK said he doesnt want to partake in the Machinima competition due to latency issues .. so maybe we should get all the kick ass tournaments on the SEA server :O and then we can get some HuK Norris action ..
