In my previous article about BoxeR overloading websites, many questioned the event described in the post. Some compared the event to Day9's live stream and Huk's Mothership rush views. In order to for people to soak up the full gravity of this event, this "BoxeR Effect”, I found some numbers, stats, and images
First the VOD.
GomTV.com alone had VOD View of over 437,533 so far.
The Stream that some did not believe caused GomTV.com to go down…
774,866 people logged in at the same time to watch the Live stream. Here is the proof.

Day9 certain does not have 774,866 people watching his live stream.
GomTV even had to publically apologize in order to subside viewers anger. That’s how big this event was. It was not the size of day9’s daily or small MLG live stream size. This was huge.

Yea, I was looking at the english VODs and I was like, whoamg, Boxer's games have already 50k+ views. And then I looked at the Korean site and well, its ridiculous.

It really is amazing to me how much weight his name carries even now and just how huge his legacy is. I think ever since SC2's announcement people were clamoring for Boxer's grand return, but now three years after the fact he's still generating interest like nobody I've ever seen.
