Flash vs Effort
Today's first match pits the ever unsuccessful Ultimate Weapon against CJ's only good zerg (Kwanro doesn't count). Effort was on a tear until his recent breakdown during the last couple weeks of Proleague, but has rebounded well by taking Blizzcon. Okay, so he had to beat Zero at ZvZ, but a win is still a win. Flash on the other hand is coming off a fresh win in GOM, and has been doing rather well recently. With an overall record of 4-1 vs Effort head to head, along with some fairly decent TvZ maps, Flash should be able to take this set 2-1 and set up a match with Bisu in the RO8.
Leta vs Kwanro
While I really dislike Leta for some reason, the guy has shown us that he can play TvZ rather well. His 2 port wraiths are by far the best in the business. I personally believe that Kwanro is totally overrated and completely sucks. If the game goes longer than 15 minutes, he stands no chance. I find it a complete monstrosity that Kwanro has found his way into the MSL finals. If there's anything Leta does well, it's destroying rather mediocre players. Since Kwanro is rather mediocre, Leta should have no issue dispatching of the rodent 2-0.
