Night 2: Silence ![]() The revolution had dulled; a sharp blade, young steel, used to bludgeon instead of slice. There were some who bore this hardship, their fervor tempered with the knowledge that no thing worth having is attained without struggle. They were stronger for it. Others, the brittle, broke and hid, in pieces. In truth, the revolution had to bleed. There is no place for the naivety and fear of youth at a table of deceivers and idealists, wolves and vultures. These harsh realities are the crucible in which the new order would either be purified of its ailments, or melted away in its entirety. This was a day of fear, all agreed. The murder of Palmar enunciated a hard truth which had been lurking below the surface. The people saw that time was their enemy, and that the monarchists could strike with impunity. The crown was sustained by the sacrifice of both friend and foe, and the new order would be paid for with the same currency. Shady Sands walked on, pondering unpleasant equivalencies. He had seen the lineage records and accounts of Obvious.660. They had proven the man innocent. Shady Sands said his name out loud, and watched it hang limply in the dead air. He walked the streets for most of the day, pounding on doors, begging his peers to master their fear. “I have been walking the streets all day,” he shouted, “and here I stand, unharmed!” He was paid no mind. Those who did answer spoke in hushed tones behind half-opened doors. “We are only safe in large numbers,” they would say, “speak to us in the town square this evening.” Those that did gather that evening did so timidly. “We are not safe,” they whispered to each other, “there are not enough of us.” Shady Sands pleaded with them to rouse their neighbors, make noise, and flood the square once more in the name of the revolution. They turned away, and went back to their homes, for this was a day of fear. The revolution ground to a halt, and the people of Liquidia began to melt in the crucible. Nobody was lynched! + Show Spoiler + Final vote count: Lvdr (2): VisceraEyes Djagulingu Bluelightz (0): Chezinu (1): Bluelightz talismania (2): marvellosity Lvdr VisceraEyes (0): Djagulingu (5): iamperfection Kville Shady Sands Chezinu talismania _________________________________________________________________ It is now Night 2. Or if they think both are town, say so now For someone that was checking this thread through his phone i find it wierd you didnt chime in towards the end. Also This post occured just after what i consider to be a scum slip by Djagulingu. Why did you not give a single remark on it? To me im reading it that you are possibly trying to save your scum buddy by ensuring a mislynch or making a no lynch. Plus how could you know that no one else could get lynched. How could possibly predict all the activity of the other players? I find this scummy and i want an explanation.

Then, he was also bandwagoning Lvdr until I called him out. Then he switches his vote on me, again in a bandwagoning fashion, creating an NL. On August 27 2012 08:40 Shady Sands wrote: Seconded. Explain faster. Also, now that I think about it, explain this too: Here you say that Lvdr and I can't both be townies. So if Lvdr flips scum, then shouldn't you be suspecting me, too? Back in day 1, when we literally had little to no information, that's what I thought. If Lvdr flips scum, I would pretty much confirm that you are a townie. But, seeing how Lvdr is suspicious, you could have been a scumbag trying to bandwagon him down into a mislynch in day 1 knowing that he's a townie. So yes, if Lvdr flipped a scumbag, I wouldn't suspect you. After all, a day1 bus play is too balls-to-the-wall to execute.
