I can perfectly understand people that don't like Naniwa, his attitude is also not my favorite, BUT, in yet another issue I think people turn a blind eye to the most important aspects.
A major event with (maybe not the best but still) an impressive lineup of players cannot supply proper machines for the tournament to run smoothly.
AND/OR
The company that published the game is refusing/failing to provide proper support for "LAN" events to run smoothly.
Whichever of the last 2 you choose to blame for the lag, it's way, WAAAYYY more important for e-sports than one player acting immaturely. Just like all the problems revealed by the previous naniwa drama were way more important than a probe rush.
Plaese, don't let your personal preferences in players affect your clear and critical thinking.

Would i be paying for this yes, definitely. However when there is downtime such as this its fine imho.

So you're saying that it's completely reasonable to forfeit a tournament over a laggy game?
Thats what Im saying.
Then your smallminded and how no idea what proffesionalism is. Aslong as the game is playable (Which it is even with lag) and players have the same circumstances (which they did). The players should play the game on even footing for the sponsor/fans/teams. Dont even understand why you are discussing this. Sweden fanboy? (:
The game wasn't playable, did you see that last fight in Strelok vs Whitera? sure the game was over anyways but that kind of lag is not playable
You were there ? i find it hard to judge by watching from stream on how bad the lag actualy is. You blindly trust one player while not the others who did not complain on screen. Rather premature conclusion tbh.
Dude, Strelok was timing out during the fight literally every second until the battle was over. If that doesn't clearly show that there are technical issues i dunno what to tell you.
I did not say there where no technical difficulties "dude" there are, you picked the worst moment yes it lagged bad, yet during the rest of the game how bad was it ? So far we only have Naniwa's drama, at how bad it all is. Yet others have not complained, how would we know how bad it is when we have a lose cannon to follow only. You take up Naniwa and follow him blindly i rather stay in the middle.

If it's the organizers fault yes. Even though it's extreme, it's your right and an understandable decision.
To be fair, the root of the problem is Blizzard, refusing to implement LAN, and thus hurting the e-sports scene.
nope the internet is at fault allowing to pirate stuff easily for more people, internet is the one hurting esports the most ;P. PS: don't say i am supporting sopa now, censored my store yesterday.

Well consider the fact that IEM delayed all the matches for yet another hour I think it's safe to say that the game was unplayable, and not just Naniwa complaining
