I am not sure if this is just poor translation but the ending left me a bit confused. + Show Spoiler + I understand that the kid version of him gave up his memory and gave it to the sisters. So the sister have all the memory of spending time with their mother. How did yoto end up losing memory of when he meet up with Tsukiko (main girl) in her mask at the park and Emi since this was when he was already an much older? Or was this explain in a different arc in the manga?
To my understanding:
+ Show Spoiler +The "wish" about him giving his memories to those that need it never stopped, so whenever something happens that is old enough to be considered a memory, it is given to Tsukiki's older sister (who the wish was originally meant for).
He could cancel the wish at any time, but that would take away the memories from her (including the ones with her mother. He believes that will make her cry, and refuses to do it because of that.
Which is retarded IMO. Though it was also retarded he tried so hard to get his ability to lie back, but has yet to care at all about getting Tsukikio's emotions back.

If i were to rate the girls in Hentai Ouji it would be: Azuki > Tsukushi(young) > Tsukiko
edit: Fixed which Tsukushi I liked.

ah thx, now that make sense. They didnt really elaborate on it or atleast I dont think so therefore I think that will leave none manga reader a bit out of the loop. It was also the final episode and they might of decided not to put it in but either way Henneko was pretty good. Much better then I had expected it to be.

Eh....If I had to rate them Tsukiko = Tsukushi = Azuki. Honestly, it too hard to decide. I would put Azuki last if I really had too but her I like her personality too much to rate her last. Tsukiko silent personality and her eating habit is too damn moe. Then Tsukushi is too awesome. I am pretty torn :/

Valvrave ending was better than Gargantia zz.
hey com'on now. Valvrave "ending" was more like "lol lets end midway so we can resume in fall and call it s2"

Oh wells, more Tomatsu and Asami I guess.

I don't know what rocks you two are under but the valrave being 2 cour split thing has been known for ages.

Eh, it's a bit of a messy place to end a season at even for a split cour show. I guess it works though, but the last episode this cour really was a clusterfuck lol.

Valvrave ending was better than Gargantia zz.
I thought that's the point of MJ's favorite characters?

Anyone who thinks Valvraves ending was better than anything is absolutely insane.
Additionally, anyone who laughs at the idea of a show as popular as Valvrave getting a season 2 is even more insane. And we have known it was going to be split cour forever.

Symphogeah: + Show Spoiler +Power of friendship and songs is cool and all, but Chris' Swan Song not having any effect on her whatsoever was stupid. Unless I'm missing something?
Also, what's the deal with Genjuro? That guy's so op.
I enjoyed the show, but a bit disappointed after the great first episode.
Love the OP.

Love the OP. Pretty much standard thoughts on the show. But you are ready for season 2 now!
Genjuro is OP since hes the best character AND voiced by Nagare Ryoma.

I can't wait for season 2. They will have a higher budget this time... right? The first season appearantly changed studios quite late so that explains some of the issues with it (the BDs were fine though).

gargantia best 1 cour show since a long time, but haters gonna hate, or hipsters gonna critique <.<
|
Not sure if the hipster level is high with bashing on gargantia considering the shit pacing and plot/character developments. It was just a butchery of some very commonplace sci-fi templates wrapped up with random sol and bellydancing. Has all the elements of stories that has been done to death but none of the development necessary to make any of it make sense.

What is so good about Gargantia in your opinion then? I liked it for Chamber, but not much else.

Gargantia was good entertaiment but there's nothing really memorable about it except Chamber.
I think the art style and the animation looked good but the characters and plot were just meh.
|
Lol, watched kuttsukiboshi. Is this outside of the box or do I need to see more yuri? I downloaded only first episode and when I was finished, I had longest 5minutes of my life downloading the second one.

1) the setting: i like postapocalyptic settings, and i think this is a great one 2) the characters, we have ledo, who has to lose his conditioning, pinion, who wants to prove himself, and the rest of the characters dont really develope but behave in a believable manner (girls as girls, the adults and elderly quite reasonable, yet totally different) more developement would have oversaturated a 1 cour show, a culture clash deluxe into some relevations and fighting is enough plot. 3) the animation was really good 4) Slice of Life out of nowhere? yes please. (i also found this surprising mess that C³ was interesting, but not really good xD) 5) fanservice yes thank you 6) the AIs were pretty neat as well
and while the plot was predictable at times, yet nowhere as predictable as some people here make it out to be, it was a good execution for 13 eps and i liked it a lot, and even after thinking for a bit i dont remember the last 1 cour show i enjoyed this much, maybe kokoro connect or tasogare x otome amnesia or panty and stocking or tetsuwan birdy s1, but those are something different entirely.
but since gargantia has a + Show Spoiler + ending, i know the minority here will approve of it xD
so all in all, thats what i like about gargantia, that most 1 cour shows dont even come close to, would have easily watched 50 eps of it, if they had shown more of the world, and have the things develope at a slower pace (all characters, not such rushed methods to advance plot)
now you dont have to refute me, in fact please dont, as i am not really trying to argue for a rating or approval here, just saying i think this show in my opinion was "good", as in store on my HD good, where about 100 shows over the last 10 years have accumulated.

+ Show Spoiler +TLADT has nothing against happy endings. Or well, I don't.
