Hoping for a Jaedong ZvZ, weirdly. I want to see if he'll do another boneheaded 9pool, haha.
This will almost certainly go into ace, where we'll get another Jaedong vs. Sea rape.
9pool isn't even boneheaded zvz wtf.
Jaedong is 1-3 with 9pool variation builds this season (afaik). The one victory came from Modesty not cancelling his nat hatch with a 12pool. It's not reliable and apparently Jaedong himself has said it's a gimmicky build so who knows why he keeps trying it, especially in important ace matches Maybe he's just doing it to stay unpredictable and to give the other zergs a chance to win once in a while... All I know is that he tends to lose with it, a lot.
Anyway, predicting Killer vs. Hyun for the first map.
Yea, it's to plant that seed of doubt in his opponents' minds. 'Is he going to 9pool this time or not?' That kind of unpredictability and aggression keeps his opponents guessing and on their toes. The times he lost is when that backfires, but that's to be expected.

I think this is where the loss of Light will hurt MBC the most, against Oz, because they don't have a Terran who can consistently take on Jaedong. Then again, even if Light was still on MBC, looking at Jaedong's last game vs Flash, I wouldn't be so sure about Light taking on Jaedong either...
Looking at Light's last TvZs, I don't think he can take on any zerg, really. Losing to Hydra twice in a row, both times with a 14cc, is pretty bad.
You must be trolling. Have a guess at the number of times Light has lost to a non top 5 Zerg since going out to Kwanro in the Nate MSL at the start of 2010. Go on.

Jaedong used to 9-pool a lot more before. And I miss that. I love when he is agressive in the early game.
Hoping that Jaedong takes a double tomorrow, gonna wake up at 6 o'clock to watch my favorit player. Fuck yeah!

You're also reading way too much into 9pool "flaws" due to the Great game anyways. JD assumed that Great would be like every other zerg and send first ovie to closest nat. It's timed so that this overlord sees zerglings when they go down ramp if zerg has 9pooled. (This alone is huge as mere scouting patterns are based on the mere threat of a 9pool so to criticize the build itself is silly) JD's scouting patterns would have let him know where Great is under normal circumstances and the process of elimination led him to go to top left first. If the game had more "normal" scouting patterns then it would have ended up completely different.
