Hoping for a Jaedong ZvZ, weirdly. I want to see if he'll do another boneheaded 9pool, haha.
This will almost certainly go into ace, where we'll get another Jaedong vs. Sea rape.
I think this is where the loss of Light will hurt MBC the most, against Oz, because they don't have a Terran who can consistently take on Jaedong. Then again, even if Light was still on MBC, looking at Jaedong's last game vs Flash, I wouldn't be so sure about Light taking on Jaedong either...

It's proleague, so Light isn't guaranteed to meet Jaedong. He could easily get perfectman.

Yeah,.Must be a mental thing. He's got a better record against Bisu than against perfectman.

Looking at Light's last TvZs, I don't think he can take on any zerg, really. Losing to Hydra twice in a row, both times with a 14cc, is pretty bad.

9pool isn't even boneheaded zvz wtf.
Jaedong is 1-3 with 9pool variation builds this season (afaik). The one victory came from Modesty not cancelling his nat hatch with a 12pool. It's not reliable and apparently Jaedong himself has said it's a gimmicky build so who knows why he keeps trying it, especially in important ace matches Maybe he's just doing it to stay unpredictable and to give the other zergs a chance to win once in a while... All I know is that he tends to lose with it, a lot.
Anyway, predicting Killer vs. Hyun for the first map.

Yea, it's to plant that seed of doubt in his opponents' minds. 'Is he going to 9pool this time or not?' That kind of unpredictability and aggression keeps his opponents guessing and on their toes. The times he lost is when that backfires, but that's to be expected.

You must be trolling. Have a guess at the number of times Light has lost to a non top 5 Zerg since going out to Kwanro in the Nate MSL at the start of 2010. Go on.

Jaedong used to 9-pool a lot more before. And I miss that. I love when he is agressive in the early game.
Hoping that Jaedong takes a double tomorrow, gonna wake up at 6 o'clock to watch my favorit player. Fuck yeah!

You're also reading way too much into 9pool "flaws" due to the Great game anyways. JD assumed that Great would be like every other zerg and send first ovie to closest nat. It's timed so that this overlord sees zerglings when they go down ramp if zerg has 9pooled. (This alone is huge as mere scouting patterns are based on the mere threat of a 9pool so to criticize the build itself is silly) JD's scouting patterns would have let him know where Great is under normal circumstances and the process of elimination led him to go to top left first. If the game had more "normal" scouting patterns then it would have ended up completely different.

Perfectman's shuttle is really low on health. Tyson expanding,
Engage at tyson's expo, tyson's reaver is out. Perfectman loses shuttle and reaver but he has his natural up and a reaver at his natural, tyson loses his reaver and has to cancel his natural again
I don't understand why Protosses refuse to leave at this point. PvP past this point is so simple; I've never seen anyone come back from a situation like this.
Tyson with shuttle and reaver up his ramp, killed perfectman's reaver and have a speedshuttle with reaver moving out. spotted by perfectman's dragoon and is moving back to his base.
Perfectman now moving out with his speed shuttle and 2 reaver, one reaver got snipped while engaging in the battle of the middle between the 2 players.
Perfectman pushing to tyson's natural, tyson with a reaver on top of the ramp
dear is so fucked gg early attack with 3 tanks 6 marines and like 4-5 vults kill everything dear has and looks like sea is killing his nat and gonna set up a contain... only thing that might save dear is reaver but just might
Does anyone feel that MBC can do anything at this point to win? OZ sends in jaedong to clinch ace match chance OZ sends jaedong for ace match or wins earlier OZ wins.

MBC sends Jaehoon and snipes Jaedong. Jaehoon got his powers from Bisu.

FAILL!!!
they aren't theres a pylon in the back powering 4 of them
Definitely not powering all four. The back pylon is powering probably the two cannons to the bottom right. Kill that forward pylon would have shut down 4-5 cannons.
you guys forget pylons are 300/300 while cannons are only 100/100.. plus princess would have had to advance into jaehoon's zealots and cannons through a choke to hit the pylon better. he was just sniping the cannons as they were finishing on the outermost edge and he still lost lots of hydras that way.

I'm kind of new this this BW scene, Anyone can quickly sum out how a SPL game is won? First to win 4 games out of 7? And can the same player be sent? I think I've read in someone post that the guy Jaedong just won over is eliminated. So my guess is that players who win could be sent again?
Also, do both team pick a player at random? Or does someone get to call first, and the other team can counter?

First team to win 4 wins
If 6 games are played and it's a 3-3 tie then you can send any players to ace(players that win or loses before)
Both team's coach hand a slip to a referee at the same times before they announce the Ace players.

first to win 4 out of 7. first 6 sets one player may play only one set. for the ace match (7th set), any player may be sent even if they already played. Both coaches submit lineups without knowing the other team's pick.
Hiya attacking into Hyun's nat sunkens, 8 fall! plague on the mnm! all 10 sunkens fall as they complete some lings rush out! a swarm! but firebats clear out the lings
plague and dark swarm killing mnm at natural but the natural is already down... drop ship in the back of hyun's main targetting ultra cavern, got it and ultra pops out to take care of the drop :/
another defiler under swarm plagues a bunch of mnm irradiated ultras again Hiya just rushing his marines past swarm into Hyun's nat lots of ovies die....the hatch falls
seems like the build would have worked if he had consume/plague 10 seconds earlier and the sunkens finished 5 seconds earlier. These Hyun builds....they are brilliant if they work but make Hyun look retarded when they don't. Seemed to be going okay with the hive rush until I realized Hyun was only making drones...jeez.

Maybe... with Fantasy not really winning anything this month (not making Ro16, no playoff wins), and not being that far ahead to being with anyway, he might go down. And Flash has more points from the past to lose, and has won less (one playoff game and making the Ro16 compared to 2 playoff games, 1 PL game and making the Ro16), while not being that far ahead either to begin with.
No matter how it turns out it's probably going to be really close.

Good for Oz to beat MBC. Losing Light pretty much means they have no responses to Oz's excellent zerg lineup.

What you mean is that MBC has noone to snipe Jaedong.
Hmm... MBC knew the last Oz player would be Hiya. Perhaps they could have sent Pusan instead of Hyun, given Hyun's weak ZvT. I guess Pusan is not ready... yet. lol

Was half-joking, not serious.
Edit: But actually Pusan beat Hiya in a macro game during the MSL prelims. Hiya later bunkered rushed him twice to deny Pusan a spot in the MST.

Sorry if I am been dumb but I can't find any VODS for these games. Missed the games because they where on just after lunch again (Why do they keep putting games on at 1 O clock when the majority of their audience is in school or at college I will never know.)
